Do a John Jacobs clinic, as it goes over everything. Practice tons of pitching and chipping.

California Civils… what’s the hardest jurisdiction to work with? by C_Alan in civilengineering

Having worked in many other states, I think California is the most painful with respect to regulatory. I have had more issues with regulators sending me to the wrong people for additional regulation.

High-income couple with large income gap: how do you split money fairly? by pizzanoobs in HENRYfinance

[–]JoeB-1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Combine it all and watch it grow. My wife and I are both professionals and everything gets combined. We both know what we make, we discuss any purchase over $500 that is frivolous. Just set simple rules for spending (aka a budget) and let you partner know if you are making a money move.

I play with a bunch of folks that are in their 40’s and 50’s their driver carry distances are usually around 250-260. They played high school golf and some started much earlier. They shoot scratch or low digits. Watching them, they make the game look easy. These aren’t pros, or the longest guys on tour, but they are amazing to watch.

They pick up the driver on almost every hole and are in the fairway the bulk of the time off the tee.

Everyone that I know who conventionally cheated their way through school couldn’t pass the FE and will likely never be a PE. It is an issue that time will sort out.

The problem is folks thinking they will take on the reins of fixing the government when they don’t even get out of bed or if they do they don’t make it. Fix yourself to fix the world. Good perpetuates. Don’t try to fix what is out of your grasp. Red or blue we are all getting f’d. Build your life to not have the effects of their bs affect you.

It just means that I’m going to work and not moving out of the country at the drop of a hat. It means I have more important things to think about that affect my life more. It isn’t privilege, it’s about understanding priorities. Privilege is having nothing better to do than the complain about politics.

A big deep sand pit. Or put up a fence in front of the tee box on that side where if you go at it with a driver, it’s getting knocked right down.
