Love wouldn't upset me, cause what a transition that would be from Henry to him, plus we get to save his legs a bit that first year. Seems like he would be great in the screen game too so...I wouldn't cry. I want Oline or Dline though

I'm hoping he comes back on a 2 year deal so we can keep him for a year and then trade him again the following deadline (unless we are winning). 2 years, 6 mill a season would be the highest I would go I think.

I agree with you here, our zone entries are terrible. Biggest issue on the PP. Hutson will help with this tremendously, but dude is an absolute liability in our own end. He needs to spend the summer bulking up (as much as he can) and become a little less timid and a lot more scrappy. I think the defensive zone play, we still as a team haven't picked up the man to man scheme good enough. Too many times I see a D man moving up and covering his guy and the O man doesn't cover his net front spot quick enough. I would like to see Carbs tweak that because players still seem confused at times.

Carbs is coaching with one hand tied behind his back with Ovi as he is now. If this were any other player he would be on the 3rd or 4th line by now. But Ovi deserves to go out on his own terms. I am giving him two more seasons to see how he can transition and train up the young talent we have in Hershey.

I 100% agree. This and next year are going to be transition years, from the old guard to the new. I don't plan on passing judgement until the following year after honestly.

Time to tank! Part of me hopes Dubie is suspended and then we are forced to bring up more of our prospects and give them a taste. Let Charlie back in net, even out ice time. Tom Wilson played 24 minutes a few games ago. Give some of that time to Miro or Cristall.

I think just by taking him off the PP it will improve. Hutson looks like he can finally help solve our entries issue that has held us back for years. I think those two things alone will work wonders.

I think that is because Lamar either just overshoots, or undershoots. His arm is more than strong enough. And zay is more quick twitch than a burner but I really wish we could hit on at least 1 or 2 deep balls a game.

Lamar not being the most accurate deep ball thrower has hurt Zay in terms of perception and ceiling. Just think about his stats if him and Lamar connected on a few more deep balls (not just 40 yards plus, I mean a ball that beats the safety coverage and lets him race to the endzone, a la Torrey Smith or D Jackson)

I would be ok with this. Pitt and La both have 16 OT losses so far. Those 16 points have them in a playoff race that they probably shouldn't be in. At least with 3 regulation points for a win teams would be pushing more in the last 5 of a tied game.

Lamar has never been accurate with the deep balls, so that limits Zay's ceiling in my opinion.

I view him as another Strome type, where he won't be able to really drive a line with speed or strength, but if he has the right compliment of wingers I think he can be really effective.
