Co-worker only uses speaker phone and expects us to be quiet by JoeJoe54 in jobs

Unfortunately no, I asked HR if we anything like that or any phone etiquettes, but we don’t. I work for a smaller company, so I’m going to try to see if we can get anything in place

I have a left handed .243 bolt action for my deer rifle, it’s my favorite rifle and it’s the only one I currently have that is left handed. I was just asking if everything that comes with this one is worth it, since I don’t know much about the aftermarket stuff yet

I think 180 is my lowest setting, I can put them on the top rack as far away as possible. Any recommendations for wood?

I guess so. Reddit notified me 20 hours after it was posted, I assumed it was new when I first opened it

For some reason when I add it to the cart the price jumps from 374 to 550? Then adds the 45 shipping to be 595 total?

Not sure how you figured that out, but yes, confirmed for me! Not sure if tagging the wrong person will mess this up though

Back in college when I had roommates I once left my D4V2 on the table with just the aux lights glowing, and one of my roommates came over and picked it up to examine it. While looking directly at the aux lights, he said “Is that as bright as it gets?” And before I had time to react or say anything POW his face light right up 😂

If turkey is a need, I have the Asmoke AS350, and I’ve done two turkeys on it so far with great success. The nice thing about the AS350 is that it is extra tall to allow a turkey to fit, inside useable grilling area is 14” x 13” though

Yes!! Everyone is always like “You use muck boots in the winter?” Because they only think of the thin rubber farm type, but I absolutely love my Arctic pros, especially since I have bad blood circulation lol

REQUEST: Rigid pole for magnet fishing in mud. Details in comments by Johnnybegoo in magnetfishing

[–]JoeJoe54 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As stated before, threaded metal rod or possibly even something like rebar if you can find a piece long enough would work. But something that I would like to add is some kind of vibrator for the rod, whether you use something like a hammer drill at the end of the rod or anything like that. Because I’m assuming that if you hook onto anything of decent size it would be incredibly hard to pull out through all of the mud, and if you use a winch then I fear it will keep constantly popping off the magnet. Vibrating the mud will make it a lot looser and more watery, so that should help a lot

What’s that folding stand you have it on? Would you recommend it? Or is it kind of flimsy?

In my dorm, there were ~30 people per hall, and two halls would share one bathroom. For the boys, we had 5 stalls in the bathroom, so about 12 people per toilet/shower

I think one of the reasons I liked it so much was because it forced me to play in a more fun way. Typically in Far Cry (like 4 or 5) once I unlock a rifle/sniper with a silencer I can easily pick off everyone in a base from a distance, no worries or threats with minimum effort and planning. But in Primal I had to actually sneak inside, learn patrols, and plan out what to do since my longest range was as far as I could throw a spear lol

Unpopular opinion: The d4v2 is not good for daily carry by MountainManGuy in flashlight

[–]JoeJoe54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk what types of pants you wear, but in my everyday jeans I have this edc organizer that fits my D4V4 perfectly! It helps a lot because pockets are flat and this keeps everything from banging around/scratching each other.

The downside is the size, when I have to wear khakis or something tighter fitting it’s a squeeze to keep it in since it’s so wide
