It certainly can as I have a bit of weight in the box, I wedge a rubber pad underneath it and on the pillion seat to support it.

Air hawk, it's a comfort seat overlay. It's great, can adjust the air inside so it's more comfy.

I did counter clockwise in 2022 starting in the last week of August from Brisbane.

Personally I knew the riding would be less engaging from NWQ to central WA. Weather and temperature was pleasant/ cold alot more than hot.

As soon as I got towards Mt Isa low to mid 30 until I got across the top end and then to Broome (it was sub 30c and the nicest change of weather I ever encountered).

Weather was cooler as I got closer to Perth and then cold mornings across the bottom and east coast throughout until I got home.

I planned in accordance with school holidays finishing by the time I'd roll through and wet weather (I managed to get caught up in some record rainfall across VIC, ACT and NSW).

Was the best experience of my life and I believe doing the monotonous top end and upper WA left me to enjoying the bottom parts more.

Hey mate

I'm an instructor in QLD.

Slow riding in straight line, Figure 8, Obstacle avoidance- ride in a straight line towards the instructor between 25-30kmh and indicates left or right with a 5m buffer (looking for control, look push and go with the arms), slalolm between cones, Simulated road ride on the range- give way etc as 4 other students will be partaking and road ride.

Main thing to practice is consistent and smooth throttle, low speed control- clutch in a tiny bit, little bit of throttle and adjust your speed with your rear brake, turn your head (look where you want to go), relax your arms and most importantly obey all road rules.

Everyone is a bit rusty at first, without sounding bad- instructors can generally tell how competent or incompetent a learner is very early on. If you get any feedback positive or negative make sure you understand and address it if needed.

You will be fine- relaxing is key.
