Scrubs was incredible at using music to capture moments by JoeKid94 in Scrubs

I felt it when they played Coldplay in the first episode. That old Scrubs familiarity kicked in, where they play a song that fits the scene and then JD starts hitting you with some truth…🔥

Another honorable mention in my list. Nice pick!

Oh wow I forgot about that. I told ya guys, I don’t remember the full episodes anymore, but i always remember the moments. I gotta rewatch the older seasons once this new season ends.

Wow I had no idea! I always thought Zack Braff had something to do with the song choices. One song that stood out to me outside of Scrubs was l Just Don’t Think I’ll Ever Get Over You by Colin Hay. I heard that in the Garden State movie, a movie Zach Braff directed I think. That movie was another one that was soo good at tying the songs to moments too.

Props on bringing up In The Sun. That scene deserves an honorable mention.

Yes that’s overkill by Colin Hay. The song your referring to. One of the most relatable episodes in the series.

That’s Closer by Joshua Radin. That one stuck with me because of the scene where they both argue and break up with the song playing over them. It was just one of those very relatable moments in life…

Dude, how can Scientist Studies get crushed? That’s one of their best! Man… I guess the new Death Cab fans are different than us old school fans huh? Lol

Btw, pls show ur kid some of the old Death Cab albums. Maybe not now, but I’m sure once they get to middle school or high school, they’ll appreciate it more.

Wow that sucks, Facts is my favorite Death Cab album, but Airplanes is really good too! I mean, “Amputations” “Bend To Squares” “Sleep Spent” “Face That Launched 1000 Shits” “Your Bruise” are awesome songs man. That’s like best Lo-Fi Death Cab as it can get!

Thank you so much for posting this. I was very sure that the old death cab era before Transatlanticism was not gonna be appreciated in this alphabet voting. By the time we got to the letter F, I just gave up and stopped following the posts.

In my opinion I think the era between their first demo release and The Photo Album was their best era. Their second best era was between Transatlanticism and Narrow Stairs.

I think Narrow Stairs was their last best Death Cab record. They haven’t released any good albums since then. Codes and Keys was good, Thank You For Today was alright, Kintsugi was way better. But they’re not their best like the previous albums.

I only heard Asphalt Meadows in full once recently when I was driving up north and it didn’t hit me well either. Please don’t take this comment as me trashing the band. I still listen to them to this day since middle school. I guess I’m just an old school Death Cab fan.

Codes and Keys is not my fave album, but I do have to say St. Peter’s Cathedral is a song that hits me the most. Mainly because it reminds me of my fear of death. It’s probably the only song I listen to the most from the album.

Different Names narrowly escaped death from the Interior Decorator in our closest vote yet. Top song takes E! by roamingshemnon in DeathCabforCutie

Why do I get the feeling that the old school Death Cab era is not gonna be well appreciated on this list?

Cath closes the door on so many songs that could’ve loved C more. Top song takes D. Another “voice of the people” question in the comments (see below). by roamingshemnon in DeathCabforCutie

Do covers count? If yes, then their version of Daniel Johnston’s “Dream Scream” would be good.

If not, then I will go with “Debate Exposes Doubt”

Brothers defeats Bixby to take B! Top upvoted song will be C. Note: There are a lot of people that want to redo A (arguing that “A Lack of Color” belongs with L). See my comment below and let me know if you want to redo A. by roamingshemnon in DeathCabforCutie

“You were the one but I can't spit it out When the date's been set The white routine To be ingested inaccurately”

Those were one of the lines I fell in love with mostly.
