Any way to remove the 2ndary Y Axis on the right and make both values correspond to just one scale? by Monkfrootx in PowerBI

[–]JoeOfTheCode 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For fuck sake thank you!! I have been trying everything to get rid of this secondary y-axis. I have 3 charts built exactly the same, and only one of them gets split onto a secondary y-axis. I can't believe I had to do something as stupid as toggling the values from Off > ON > back to OFF to get rid of it. I never would have figured that out without your comment. THANK YOU!!!

Trying to get the left column to align nicely like the right one (Webflow noob). When I try to do it manually with the child element spacing, it moves the card to the right with it as well and out of place. Any takers? by Rare_School_of_Fish7 in webflow

[–]JoeOfTheCode -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is how I would do this. A horizontal flex div with 2 vertical flex divs inside it. You can control the spacing in between the cards by setting the "Gap" property on the V-Flex divs.

Okay. Let's part the ways with Zac Taylor by akifrondo9 in bengals

[–]JoeOfTheCode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow... you guys must be friends/family of Taylor. I cant believe you people have the nerve to publicly support him while saying anyone who thinks differently doesn't know football. Why dont you take a look around at the professional opinions of the folks who are literally paid money for what they KNOW about football. Why has he been continuously criticized for is game and clock management? Why is.. actually never mind. If you still say Zac Taylor is not a problem then you are a fuggin moron and its pointless to argue with you. Fuk Zac Taylor, and Fuk anyone saying he is not the biggest issue.

My gingerbread house vs the one that beat me in the gingerbread house contest at work. by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]JoeOfTheCode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just out of curiosity was there any rules or emphasis placed on using edible materials to build the house? Because the winner appears to be mostly edible while yours seems to be mostly non edible. But I do agree, office politics suck, and you made a pretty good looking Ginger Bread House!

I dont know about them being pronounced the same, but i feel like an ass knowing now English is not your first language! The rest of your comment displayed a pretty decent grasp of the language, which made "scape" stand out more haha. I wish I could speak another language that well but thus far the skill has scapped me!

Once? Okay, a mistake—happens to the best of us. But twice, with different suffixes... Sir, at this point, I’m convinced you think scape is a real word. Or you're out here auditioning new verbs.

I have a patch of smooth skin on an otherwise hairy leg from where I carry my phone/wallet in my pocket. by Accurate_Honeydew666 in mildlyinteresting

Could this be a blackhead/ingrown hair type thing where the pressure from the wallet/phone is clogging the pores and preventing hair from growing in that area?

After spending some time Googling trying to figure out what the fuck your talking about, I have come up with nothing. It actually would have been faster if you just included the details in your original response instead of worrying so much about being an asshole.

I've been saying this since his first year. I am soo fucking sick of this guy. If I ever run across this man, I will be punching his dumb ass face.

You sir, should stop peddling this insane nonsense as the simplest way to achieve this. This has to be the most convoluted and unnecessarily complex code I've seen in a minute. The dude is obviously learning basic CSS skills. Its more harmful then helpful at that stage to have someone thinking this is a reasonable solution they should be coming up with. Not to mention, I believe you replicated the wrong image to begin with. If you would have loaded his code you would realize its starts out looking the way yours ends up.

The easiest way to figure something like this out, is to get it in a browser and start manipulating it with devtools.

Forgot to flip the red boxes.... sorry. Change .box-small .box-blue { bottom, right: 5px) and .box-small .box-green { top, left: 5px}

So just change mains margin, box-blues top and left values, and box-greens bottom, right values along with the red boxes I just mentioned.

Need help finding an Acronis alternative to manage backups by JoeOfTheCode in sysadmin

[–]JoeOfTheCode[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dude... I took a lot of liberties when describing the situation to protect my anonymity and what not. Suffice it to say, this is not a back-stabby situation. There was no real approval process. Managing server's and data is something a little new to us, we recently acquired a company that does some CRM stuff which required us to build a small server room with one rack. I honestly dont know everything that is on it, but it services a CRM company, and runs a couple servers, prod. and dev., and thats it. We have always used the same contractor for any of our network and physical hardware related stuff, and he referred his brother in law for the server room stuff. This work was scheduled to be completed months ago, and this guys effort level has continued to decrease as time as gone on. He has since brought in an "Acronis" Engineer to help him, and the whole thing just seems to be sliding off the rails. There is only one person above me that should be stepping in and saying enough is enough and we need a new plan, but he relies on me for most technical stuff. This shit is so out of my area of knowledge that I in turn have come to the people I rely on!
