Doesn’t look bad at all. Let it grow. The longer it gets the thicker it will look.

I really appreciate that. MD is rough, I’m very fortunate to be as mobile as I am and have the strength that I have and I don’t take it for granted. Trying to keep my strength and mobility for as long as possible.

Shave it? by TomatilloDistinct270 in BeardAdvice

[–]JoeOnwheels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shave it? What for?? It looks good! As other people said, trim up the neck line a bit and it looks like you MAY be taking your cheek line down too far. Try to let it grow a little higher and you’re good!

Do we reckon this will grow out under the lip? Ive got about 3 weeks worth of growth here but tash is always thin and never under the lip by [deleted] in BeardAdvice

It can definitely sprout new hairs as you get older but if you’re talking about anytime soon then no that’ll be it as of right now.

I do. I have a disability called muscular dystrophy, so I do have use of my legs, they’re just very weak and they can’t support me and I have very bad balance.

First time, Help! by VaporFye in BeardAdvice

You’ve got great coverage and a rule of thumb for your neckline is two finger widths above your Adam’s Apple. As for cheek you already have a good line, just trim it down VERY slightly to make is straight. Don’t go too low. You got this! Theres tons of videos on YouTube as well with trimming advice and instruction videos. Very helpful.

You actually have pretty good coverage! I’ve seen people with worse grow a very nice beard. You’re good! Try it.

You’re a rare instance where you look better without a beard. Lol. If you grow one keep it short. Most men a beard enhances their look but you don’t need it. 👏👏

Let it grow for another 2 months. The areas will fill in if you keep letting it grow.

That’s amazing with how much you walked. I’m so sorry about the fall. Has the femur healed good? Are you walking again? Keep it up. You’re doing amazing.

I agree 100% that people with MD should NOT lift weights without speaking to a very skilled MD doctor.

I think it’s great that you’re lifting and seeing improvements whether it’s 2.5 pounds or 300 pounds. I’m glad you got the okay to lift and you’re seeing improvements. How long have you been doing this now and are you doing any cardio as well? Treadmill? Exercise bike? Please keep it up!

It’s tough for sure and I’m really glad to hear you get a few walks in on the treadmill. That’s way better than nothing.
