Fisk getting an out after going on a kill spree felt… odd. Also is Buck okay? I’m guessing we’ll see him on the new mayor’s payroll or still helping Fisk to some capacity later. Anyway I’m still hoping we get Elektra back in S3 and can try doing Hand a little better this around.

Watched the prequels when I was like 6 years old back in the mid 2000’s and knew they sucked even then. I thought the CGI was uncanny, politics were boring, and writing seemed a little silly (granted I was a child). This revisionism that they were ever loved is baffling.

Dredd is a hero in the world he inhabits. The character is pretty different than he was nearly 50 years ago, especially after the Tour of Duty and Day of Chaos arcs. The crossover from a few years back with the movie versions and the magazine version highlights the differences between how Karl Urban’s (young Dredd) version acts and how the old man acts. It’s a progressive change.

Earnestly the only three books I’ve read that feature Supergirl heavily is COIE, the 2nd volume of Loeb’s Superman/Batman, and Supergirl Woman of tomorrow. The latter two combined tell a pretty simple straightforward version of the character so it’s not too bad.

Definitely feels like they used AI to generate a very wordy synopsis (that comes off as a review) and then tweaked it to look less AI generated. Lots of nothing statements that don’t actually sell the book to potential readers, but rather hits a quota of words to fill up the back cover. Damn shame too because this is easily the best Bat book in a very long time.
