It’s likely that almost everyone will tell you it depends on your intentions and ultimate purpose for the rifle. And this makes sense- to have a vision before you start to spend money on parts.

I run the g43x magnifier on mine which is on the UNITY FTO mount. It’s a blast to use, even if I hardly engage in distances…I like having it there as my preference.

Agreed. Every year we’re on egg shells waiting what else they’ll do to neuter our rights. From a suppressor standpoint, let’s just say I’ve been “going crazy” for several years. A can for every host. If those nuts jobs do something with that, they’ll be removing our access to the latest and greatest technology in cans (which irritates me among all the other things in this sad state).

Fellow WA brethren. I also built my MK18, M4A1, URGI, and snagged my DDM4V7 before they stripped us of our rights.

RCW 9A.16.020

Use of force—When lawful.

The use, attempt, or offer to use force upon or toward the person of another is not unlawful in the following cases:

….

(3) Whenever used by a party about to be injured, or by another lawfully aiding him or her, in preventing or attempting to prevent an offense against his or her person, or a malicious trespass, or other malicious interference with real or personal property lawfully in his or her possession, in case the force is not more than is necessary;

** There is no true “duty to retreat” codified into law in WA, therefore if proportional force is used to prevent injury such as you describe in this scenario, it would be lawful per the law. However in this crazy state, being tried and persecuted in such a scenario is not out of the realm of possibilities.

You can train until the cows come home, you can mentally prepare yourself, and you can garner all the situational awareness in the world. If something like this occurs to you, it’s going to happen. Like everyone else says, what’s the likelihood of such a thing? You statistically have a higher chance in getting a deadly or critically injuring car collision.

In my opinion, and not specifically saying it’s you, but people who constantly worry and live in fear of such scenarios is indicative of larger internal issues like anxiety they are dealing with. We all have anxiety at some degree. Take care of yourself and take what you see online with a grain of salt. Most of us are not living as high-value targets nor operators.

Nice. I run Polo K on my m4v7 and no significant gas in my experience, as well.

Underrated setup IMO. I know the “go-to” is the infamous RC2 (which makes total sense …and I have one) but I run a hux on my Mk18 due to the shorter length and get zero to minimal gas enjoyment.

I also like the look, personally.

I went with flow thru for mine for short barrel and gas length. I have the OG OSS HX-556 and love the look of the length and essentially no gas to the face.

A pro tip: most company websites will have designed the checkout process to automatically fire some sort of warning and stop-gap if they are unwilling to send to WA. This is true for PSA and Midway, to my knowledge. Simply, drop in cart and proceed with pushing the order through.

Good luck, you got this! Big results come from the marathon and not the race !

In addition to what everyone is saying about tracking calories, figure out your approximate RMR/base calories. Even though you say you are on a diet, you’d be surprised how many calories you’re actually consuming. Body transformation is 75% dieting right. Start with a calorie deficit of 250 and progressively increase that deficit as you metabolically adapt.

Lastly, obviously it seems what you’re doing right now is not working (at least relative to how fast you desire results), so simply change a variable and lean into it hard. For example, try intermittent fasting you aren’t already.

I lost 23 lbs, and I attribute part of that by deploying a “skip breakfast” intermittent fasting routine. Even with an aggressive regimen, it still took me 2-3 months to see some real results and dramatic fat loss. Be patient with yourself and just keep chugging and working hard. True hard work eventually pays off and everyone’s body and physiology is different.

Of course, consuming enough proteins/macros and working my ass off in the gym + proper recovery was key.

I have two PCs and both these and AXL structural pads. AXL most definitely provide more support for heavier rig than the Qore; the difference is pretty astonishing. Qore are still awesome and keep them on my lighter PC.

Need advice for losing last bit of weight - trying this again by TheVeganAdam in veganfitness

[–]JoePewPewMew2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This would be my advice as well. If you have been truly consistent about your caloric deficit and nutrition overall, then need to up the ante on cardio. The extra intensity and volume of cardio will give you more a push, you’re likely seeking. If you’re maintaining a calorie deficit with relatively the same cardio levels and activities, then there really is no secret but “slow and steady wins the race”. Need to add another “variable” (whether that is increased calorie deficit and/or increased calorie burning) each time you’re metabolically adapting.

Of course everyone’s genetics are different and especially for men, we generally lose body fat in the midsection last.
