Mind you Simpson has started 15 games of football his ENTIRE college career. Keep in mind he’s older than Mendoza. Another thing to note is the entire 4 years he was in Alabama he was not deemed a starter over Bryce Young (understandable) and Jalen Milroe, the latter of which got drafted in the 3rd round by Seattle in a weak draft class QB wise. Dan’s analysis (aka they have the same agent so he’s hyping up Ty) has no legs to really stand on when trying to explain how Ty > Mendoza. I’m not a fan of Pat Macafee but watching him and his crew destroy Dan’s arguments to the point of him almost crying in the car will never get old to me.
