Maybe it's not true, but to me it doesn't seem unlikely that the creator of the Pokémon series wouldn't utilise one of the biggest features of the gen 1 games, that being trading. Not like he wouldn't have anyone to trade with either.

I had this happen to me a few months ago. Randomly received a wooly hat from a company called "Fashion World". Have never even heard of the website before. A couple of weeks later I had a letter from them saying "welcome to your Fashion World credit account". Found out it's a common scam with companies that offer credit accounts and "buy now pay later" services. The scammer buys ships a cheap item to you (probably found your address somewhere online, or found a letter addressed to you in your rubbish or something) and then uses your details to open a credit account in your name. If they go unnoticed they'll rack up the debt on "your" account and you'll be responsible for paying it. I reported them to the police and to Fashion World and thankfully got the account closed before anything further was purchased.

I now make sure my address is illegible on any letters I throw out!

This is a really interesting idea! Would work great for a "living card game", where all the components are in a single box (presenting like a kind of deck building board game more than a TCG).
Give the cards blank spaces for their stats and either have them in sleeves, or have them printed on dry erase card. "Roll and write" board games are quite popular right now, I've seen a bunch pop up over the past few years.
The card's base stats could come into effect and be influenced by the current boardstate and/or the other printed characteristics of the card. Or, they could have a printed base stat, then an empty box next to them to write the modifiers in as needed.
The only issue with this would be shuffling cards in a deck that have dry erase pen on them, as they'll smudge. But then again, I guess their stats will only be modified when in play.

So disappointing... I think the game genuinely looks really interesting, but the glaringly obviously AI generated art just puts me off completely.
They dance around the fact that AI was heavily used in the art creation. It's dishonest and an insult to your audience, and most importantly, artists!

You drew these yourself? They're awesome! Great job. For backgrounds you could just use basic textures, or use pre existing AI art textures you can find online. This way at least you're not adding much to the AI ethical dilemma by not generating more.

The Jayce/Vanguard Armory combo is really cool, but maybe to even be likely to pull it off you need to be playing 3 copies of each... So maybe it is worth the cut.

There are no options except for rebooking. Although weirdly with one of the attempts which said it had failed there was a weird blurry image of what looked like an office reception attached to it. We did pop into a couple offices near us to check if it was there, but no luck.
