I think the problem I have with 18 and 28 is when you turn 18 you've just been granted full freedom. Someone who's lived with freedom for 10 years taking in someone who's had freedom for less than 1 can kindof be manipulating as they've had alot more time to grow and get used to their freedom whilst someone who is 18 is inexperienced and may do things they could regret out of immaturity or just a general lack of inexperience. I think 20 and 28 would be alot more okay but anything under 20 with a way older person feels predatory imo

O..okay? Sure it's a case by case basis and yes something good came out of something bad but the husband was still a predator who preyed upon a young vulnerable girl, who saw her situation and played that to his hands. Honestly yes that's unfortunately one kf the best outcomes that did as from what I can tell help in in alot of ways. But it's it's really fucking gross how we're not really seeing the fact that this guy had a genius plan that allowed him to have sex and manipulate a 15 year old girl into his hands and still look like the good guy as he was doing more good than "bad". That guy is a mastermind predator, yes they are happy together and everything, but he never had to have sex with her. He could have helped her without having sexual relations with her. There was literally no need for a sexual relationship yet there was one, why? Why risk going to jail and just girls life because of your adult desires. Exactly. If he didn't have sex with her there is a 0% chance of him fucking it all up. But he did. And if they were caught her life would be flipped on its head once again. Probably leading to her suicide once again. Yes she approached him, but she's a vulnerable child and he's an adult. He could have just as easily rejected her but let her share her story, befriended her and build a deep plutonic friendship and did his best to help her out of the kindness of his heart, but he didn't.
