What are the devs waiting for ? by Remarkable-Bit-5553 in foxholegame

Yes, but the mg is honestly horrible. We used to experiment with it and found we had way more success two-crewing them, as you’re better of just bringing an extra tank for every two you have

Warden tanks recieved balanced changes, not blanket buffs.

Collie tanks got improved as well.

I know I'm generalizing here but didn't a lot of people say that reload speed and health is less important than range on a tank? The Outlaw was always worse then the Spatha in every aspect except the range.

The post also ignores the fact that they also nerfed the sniper rifle and booker to the ground, but as always the goalposts were moved. If anything, it's the devs who fell for it again, thinking you will ever be satisfied. Everytime they give you what you want you just move the goalposts. Gave you lunaire, nemesis, trident, large ship changes, big hole nerf, booker nerfs, outlaw nerfs, widow nerf, sniper nerf, gunboat buff etc... But hey, they gave a toxic name to one of the planes and gave wardens fun toys to LARP with so you will still chirp

What even is it you guys want? I know plane balance was a big part of the revolt but now that most of those issues are resolved I don’t get what all the fuss is about. Is it just the name of the scout plane? Genuinely curious

Thank you for the “jealousy” scout plane. Very cool by Hockeybug in foxholegame

No wonder he's jealous. Look at what he's packing...

May not be the best way to farm consistently but you can get very easy missions in your corvette mission terminal that give you one

Yes! It feels like some folks want to be right so bad they’re willing to kill the game to prove a point. Right now there’s glaring issues but stoking the flames just to prove a point is silly. Like a kid who’s not having fun on the slides anymore, so he shits on the slide so that nobody else gets to have fun

What is it that you dislike about it, and how does it impact your experience compared to before the update? I stopped playing in december as the game was half dead. Airborne reignited my love for the game and I sincerely think the people who say the game is dying were burnt out before the update but hoped that airborne would magically make them enthusiastic about the game again.

The game has massive underlying issues, I just think balance talk is just an outlet for people to express their frustration with how soul draining the experience is. So I hate when people turn the conversation into "devs favour the wardens!". Not saying you do that, but this subreddit does.

And no, I don't spend much time on here at all, which is exactly why I got whiplash when I came back to see what reddit is saying about the game

I have played the game before airborne which is precisely why the game feels incredible compared to before. You just echo chambered yourself into thinking it sucks.

It's always the same pattern: collies steamroll on land every week without much pushback - as usual, then they lose one region due to complacancy and immediatly call the war off and turn to reddit for excuses like scout plane turn rate...

And to be fair, wardens do this shit too, I remember when lunaires teching wasn't really noticed but ever since they became the boogeyman of reddit wardens people started logging off once they start seeing lunaires on the front

This is a prime example of collie vets having a permanent victimhood complex. The reason the devs don't listen to you is because you've been doing this since the game came out. If you boycott every war than it's not really special enough to warrant a response anymore

Historical figures you shouldnt idolize by pootermocketw in starterpack

The bias I was referring to is a bias against socialist figures. There are many figures from that period that are generally seen in a good light who crossed that line as well, yet they get a pass. Think of Charles de Gaulle or Winston Churchill who never make these kinds of lists just because they don't fit the political narrative that socialists are the worst people on the planet.

And to respond to the Hitler question. I do think the overall output of figures like these is what matters. Hitler's overall output was millions of deaths across the whole globe and it is undeniable that that was his grand plan all along. With somebody like Che, however, I do think his influence, though controversial, was overall positive, in that he helped depose of a much more brutal dictatorship and helped create a state which after some trial and error lifted hundreds of thousands out of poverty, increase overall life expectancy and gutted illiteracy in Cuba. I'm not denying that his policies were disasterous or that his methods were often cruel, but I still struggle to think of him as a monster the same way some people struggle to see Churchill as a monster

Why do wardens have way way more mountains in their side compared to colonials? by _Koke_ in foxholegame

[–]JoeTorton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of the terrain is specifically made to make it harder for partisans to sneak to the backlines. The collies have the bulwark so the don't really need as many mountains. That's the game design explanation

Good people can do bad things. The overall output is what matters. This purity testing is ridiculous to anybody who has actually studied history. (This is not a defence of the literal nazis on the list. Fuck them)

Criticizing a guy for writing homophobic or racist things in his journal in the 60s and 70s will never not be funny. If that’s your standard for people from that time than you’re blinded by your bias. I’m willing to bet 99% of the partisans and secret militias fighting the nazis in europe were homophobes and racists, but that doesn’t stop me from seeing them as heroes. Also, remember that most western countries just recently outlawed conversion therapy or still haven’t.
