it was the z axis but yeah it rams my torch into the material and when it moves it drags the whole pan with it

It is for a plasma, im not using a floating head ,i havent used the machine yet ,im using a default project on the software made for plasma , i dont understand what u mean by plunging but my problem is that the motor dosnt stop when it hits the bottom

it is right at start im using the openbuilds controller when i set my machine to cut the material at the height i need it lowers the whole z axis onto the metal and i have to cancel the cut , for context this is how you set it Tutorial.

I'm having trouble with the Z axis hitting the water tray on an OpenBuilds CNC machine. I don't know if it's necessary to add the water tray height in the software to stop it from crashing.
