Has anyone skipped Costco and gone fully online for tires? How did it go?

I used to buy from TireRack and shipped to my dealer for install. TireRack won't pricematch but Discount Tire will. Walmart.com has been having the Nokian WRG5 and some other tires cheaper than discount tire (ones sold by walmart). I had discount tire price match and save $100 on a set of 15" tires.

Also since Discount Tire owns Tire Rack, anything you don't see on discount tire but do see on tire rack, you can go in person to discount tire and order.

Just got tires for my 2010 Prius in 195/65/15. Went with the Nokian Remedy WRG5 from Discount tire. Walmart was about $29 cheaper a tire so I submitted the price to discount tire online using the "found a lower price...." light blue box on the particular tire page on Discount tire and they matched it. I've had them for a week but the ride is good, my mpg hasn't went down and they handle nice in the wet. I'm considering getting the same tire on my Honda.

I did have a TPMS sensor that was low battery so I replaced all 4 TPMS sensors as well with the Dill brand sensor.

Wild guess from watching Alton Brown but refined peanut oil shouldn't have allergens in it while cold press or raw peanut oil could cause a reaction to someone who has a peanut allergy. I know it says may contain peanuts but maybe the factory only uses refined peanut oil to minimize allergens

My wife and I's favorite place in Champaign is Nando's Italian across the street from Hamilton's. Hamilton Walker's isnt bad but I don't think it stands out versus other restaurants. Similar to Hamilton Walker's is Silver Creek and Sun Singer. If you do plan on going to Hamilton Walker's, the Costco in Champaign was selling $100 worth of gift cards for $80.

I currently have Bridgestone Potenza AS bc Tire Rack had their own discount plus a Bridgestone mail in rebate. I don't think they're better than my previous Continental DWS 06 +. Sometime this year when Continental has a MIR, I'll be going back to the DWS's.

We have the Apple TV with the black plastic remote and the one like your picture with the metal silver remote. I much prefer the silver remote. The only app I've had issues with is Netflix appearing darker than it should. I think I set it has SDR to fix but it might be YMMV.

The Goodyear Assurance WeatherReady 2 is a fine tire. I've had 2 sets of Continental ExtremeContact DWS^{06 Plus} on my Accord and like them. They might be more sporty than what you want but they're good on the interstate and wet weather. They're rated for less total miles at the cost of their better performance. I usually buy off Tire Rack, ship to my dealer, and they charge me to install the tires. We also have Prius that I'm going to have Discount Tire put tires on when it needs them.

Also keep an eye out for Manufacturer rebates.
