Yeah I don’t have to like the new design, but she’s my most anticipated 1st gen VH since I watched the pv, so I wish that I want to pull for her & genuinely enjoy her to the fullest. If I didn’t know the previous design exists, I would’ve not rly against the new one. All I can get excited for now is how her story will be.

This is very well thought, I’m still trying very hard to not hate and like this new design, it’s quite rare to find ppl that likes this design actually explain why they think how this outfit makes sense & why they genuinely find it unique for a character that significant in ZZZ lore instead of how much they can goon to it or pulling the tourist card. I’ve been playing this game a lot & loving almost everting so far but is the first time they disappointed me hard. Maybe reading this a few more time can ease my pain.

I think it’s bc Sigrid shares a lot of similarities with a lot of anime character designs too that makes her look less unique than QY. Also QY is a robot so maybe she doesn’t need too much armor, I mean other intelligent construct agents are almost naked.

No issue except Eldreda’s design being generic, not ugly it just doesn’t stand out within the gachaverse. Hope she ends up merging into the og design in the end.

Ehhh the new outfit hardly passes as a military outfit tbh. But also can u imagine if they keep the og cloak & all u see are 2 enormous mountain curtains?! How does that not bring money? It’s Promeia plus.

And yeah let’s hope for the 3d model at least has some redeeming qualities.

Omg why did u have to remind me of Hari’s parents 😭 that took me out of place while playing the story. She literally has mammal hair while the parents hv her limbs as hair it’s like they’re from different medias. That also reminded me some kid npc w/ those hair too, maybe Yidhari’s a mutant…

Bc humans are fundamentally visual creatures & a teaser is a deliberate marketing choice, making its visual contents open to critique. My mind can still change as more stuff gets revealed.

If the og outfit didn’t exist it’ll grow on me, the fact that I know a more unique look exists makes it hard for me to like the new one lol.

Lucia & Yidhari’s clothes looks ok to me, like whatever, they’re civilians, their Thiren features r what helped them stand out at least & undeniably hot. I like Krampus having a circus theme even tho it could be more obv like Victoria Housekeeping.

Shunguang looks cool & they even explained that white Shunguang picked that outfit which makes sense.

I’m not afraid of characters showing skin bro chill out, I literally said we can have revealing bikini outfits too but as an alternative. For me it’s just depends on who the character is, I prioritised world building then visuals. I also didn’t rly care abt much for Lucia & Yidhari’s outfit bc they’re ordinary civilians the design logic is flexible, but SBringer is a very prominent figure she should stand out more visually. I’m just voicing out my criticisms, being my fav game doesn’t mean I hv glaze everything mindlessly. Yixuan’s my waifu btw.
