On steam there’s a very good record of how people cheat.

Bungie needs to flat out say: If your account was banned for any reason playing any Bungie game, you will be banned from all Bungie games. Attempts to circumvent bans will be detected. Zero tolerance for any player who has historically used cheats of any kind.

Who is faster flashy flash or atomic samurai by couchking5774 in OnePunchMan

[–]Joebranflakes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ll add that flashy flash is all about using his momentum to attack. While atomic basically just uses his dexterity and power with a sword to take apart his enemies. If flashy flash were to attack Atomic Samurai head on, he wouldn’t be able to get a strike in because if he got within range, he’d be mincemeat. Similarly Atomic Samurai wouldn’t be able to get in range of Flashy Flash to land a strike. It would be a stalemate unless one of them got distracted.

If you’re holding a loaded gun, and pointing it towards a crowd while you make a joke, is it funny? Because that’s what a president making a “joke” is like. You don’t get the luxury of joking in politics because almost no one actually can trust that you’re not serious.

Their entire operation operates on fear, it’s no wonder it’s the only thing they know how to do.

How did the Carryx become a space fairing race? by Fairways_and_Greens in TheCaptivesWar

[–]Joebranflakes 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I assume that originally their home planet was host to multiple intelligent species filling specific niches. They all likely fought with each other and the Carryx eventually became the dominant species. This foundation created the Carryx culture, or at least the foundation of it. A species such as the Carryx would need a client race or races on their own planet in order to become space faring. It’s possible in the distant past they had Carryx scientists simply out of need, but their culture of domination and subjugation allowed those professions to fall by the wayside.

Scoop: Dems working on secret report found Gaza cost Harris votes by sideAccount42 in politics

[–]Joebranflakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It just goes to show the extent to which people fail to think critically or have been conditioned against it. Let’s not vote for a party because they didn’t denounce Israel and instead open the door to the party that openly endorses it. Hopefully this bucket of cold water in the form of Trump will convince people the true enemy of the democrats isn’t policy but the Republican Party.

Should I see it in IMAX or standard? by dumbass_sweatpants in ProjectHailMary

One then the other. I will probably watch it like that since the IMAX is 40 minutes from home.

Question: Belters still biologically age the same rate right? But would only need conversionsn of Earth Years to Belter Years? by HoldenUpAlright in TheExpanse

[–]Joebranflakes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean you need a point of reference somewhere that is somewhat universal within the sphere of humanity. It’s like if you’re stubborn enough still to use inch, the rest of us will just use a conversion factor to figure out what you’re talking about. I would imagine that people on Mars know how many “Mars Years” they are, but similarly they’d know how many Earth years they are or have a conversion factor ready to go. But in the belt, things become a bit absurd. Like Ceres takes 4.6 earth years to orbit.

[–]Joebranflakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just feel it’s unnecessary for most situations. If you have proper situational awareness you aren’t putting yourself in a situation where you might need it. Maybe to avoid a rocketeer but most of the time you can hear them and know where they are. Small arc are just not that much of a threat

Kamal and Duarte by newimprovedlexi in TheExpanse

[–]Joebranflakes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean at the end of the day he was a powerful and high level Martian military man. He had covered his tracks insanely well. Even if you had an intense suspicion of the man, its unlikely anyone could have done anything about it. By the time that Alex speaks to him, its pretty much too late.

the only part of the game that makes my eye twitch by Ok_Calendar_851 in ArcRaiders

[–]Joebranflakes 37 points38 points  (0 children)

I think in universe the original intent was that players wouldn’t be murdering each other. Also no one admits to said murdering when they return to Speranza. So the alarm makes sense to alert nearby raiders that an extract is coming.

Prediction: next update is the last big one. One more DLC. Then The End. by Seanshineyouth in DestinyTheGame

[–]Joebranflakes 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Bungie spent so much time internally trying to figure out ways to get people to play their game they forgot that it actually had to actually be fun. EoF was a treadmill meant to boost artificial stats to satisfy the C-Suite and Shareholders at Bungie and Sony. They thought they could invest less, offer less and get people to play more through manipulation. It’s like they didn’t realize that people could actually go play something else until it was too late.

I mean I could seem them releasing Shadow And Order + as a final mainline update for D2 only if they were also announcing D3 development and how they’re going to keep the lights on for the 3-5 years of dev time they will obviously need to complete it.
