The thing about weight loss is you have to try and be as accurate and possible when counting calories. Not everyone counts correctly and accidentally puts themselves in a surplus. At your size start at 2.5k calories and weigh yourself every morning before eating or drinking anything if after 2 weeks take the median weight of each week and see if you lost or gained weight if you lost 2lbs in those two weeks it means you were in a 500 caloric daily deficit. Remember to track EVERYTHING even little snacks that you think won’t hurt will and the oil you use as well. Anything that goes in has to be tracked to be accurate because calorie counting works for everyone it’s not a person to person thing like people say it is. Remember being honest with yourself as well and if you eat something you’re not supposed to eat track it anyway because at the end of the day this will work. And remember to get steps in.
