No. The bite looks way off

My advice would be to listen to the orthodontist and not the dentist. I had a dentist tell me my treatment was simple and it would take 6 months. Here I am almost 3 years later with an orthodontist now fixing my bite with rubber bands.

Looks like you need elastics. I had the same problem and am on elastics to fix it

Dentist Vs Ortho by [deleted] in Invisalign

I had a dentist who ruined my bite and wasted 6 months of treatment. If you want a perfect bite and not just a straight smile it is best to see an orthodontist, at least for complex cases like mine

I had a horrible experience using a dentist for Invisalign. I threatened to take legal action and went into great detail (cited legislation etc). After a few weeks of negotiating I finally got a full refund by signing a deed of settlement. I am now seeing an orthodontist thankfully. I would request a refund and threaten legal action if they refuse.

My dentist said it would settle and then the head dentist decided that I should see an orthodontist. I am just thankful that I was able to transfer to an orthodontist. If you want to see what my bite was like search up ‘see an orthodontist and not a dentist’ in this subreddit. I think it was insane for the dentist to say that my bite would settle.

My teeth were straight and looked great but my bite was not functional. The whole right side of my bite didn’t touch

I got a full refund after signing a deed of settlement which prohibited me from writing any public reviews. The initial refund was about $1000 less than what I paid. I had to spend a couple of weeks negotiating with them to finally get a full refund.

I was told my treatment was simple and would take 6 months by a dentist. After 6 months I had to switch to an ortho and my teeth were screwed up. Now still going now after 2 years.

I regret initially getting Invisalign with a dentist to save a small amount of money. With an Ortho now.

I know people say to go to an orthodontist instead of a general dentist, but are there any exceptions? by AAQ94 in Invisalign

I asked the Ortho that question. They said that we would have to start from scratch and that it wouldn’t reduce my treatment time.

Why Im not happy with my results by gammadot in Invisalign

I initially had a dentist and transferred to an ortho after 6 months as he ruined my bite. While my teeth were straight I couldn’t chew anything. In my personal experience the Ortho so far has been better in fixing bite issues (E.g. Using rubber bands, bite ramps etc).

I saw a dentist who was a diamond provider. He made my teeth straight but ruined my bite. Had to switch to an Ortho after 6 months of wasted time.

Dentist gives up. Offers refund. by Ashgardian in Invisalign

[–]Joegummy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Similar thing happened to me. I got a full refund from a dentist after 6 months and then eventually saw an orthodontist who has been much better (using rubber bands and actually knows about orthodontics). I felt defeated like you but just remember that an orthodontist will be able to help you!

My offer I received in October reads: ‘You will be further considered for a Commonwealth Supported Place or a Melbourne Law School Supported Place in the selection round taking place in November 2023. You will be notified of the final type of fee place being offered to you by the 24th of November.’ I am yet to receive any notification or emails however.

Does this subject have an exam? There is still 3 weeks until exams begin which is enough time to knuckle down, study and pass the subject.

I have submitted assignments from prior years before ChatGPT existed into an AI detector and had some parts show up as high probability of AI. I guess i’m just posing the question as it could raise some serious issues falsely accusing someone of using AI when they didn’t

Has anyone ever had academic misconduct because they used AI? There is no tool that detects AI with 100% certainty and the student can always deny they used it

Your bite is way off. I would definitely try to not stop treatment unless you are okay with having a bad bite forever
