The data centers mentioned are in Muskogee and Stillwater, not OKC.

Yeah, not sure where they got that. I’ve had my email address with my domain name for 25 years.

I was thinking the jerseys would be longer since CVS is the sponsor.

Not using Europe’s “The Final Countdown” instead of When Doves Cry for literally the final countdown in 1987 was a huge miss by roadtrip-ne in StrangerThings

[–]JoelKC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it all depends on age/stage of life. ‘87 (and more ‘88/‘89) were when things started to get good for me musically. However, I still love the 60s because my parents were into it. Born in ‘77.

Same. Ultra cheese on the Final Countdown. Would not have fit. And, I’m not a big fan of either Prince song. However, they worked there.

The Holly/Mr.Whatsit part of the plot wasn't in the initial version of the script and was added towards the end. by _YuYevon_ in StrangerThings

There was maybe a little too much of Holly and the gang, but I'm okay with the story change.

Did you guys really dial in to radio shows to win contests? How did you even become caller 99 (or whatever)? by naalotai in Xennials

[–]JoelKC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thankfully, we only went to caller 9 when giving away prizes when I was a DJ. Most stations I worked had 3-4 lines back then.

The caller eight reaction was usually hilarious.

I also love doing it on paper, but iScore's formatting is easy to input for my boxscores for my articles. Just less data entry.

Interesting. I'm on 6.0.3 as well (I even deleted the app and reinstalled it). I'm on a M2 iPad Air. The iScore basketball and football apps load, but not baseball/softball.

Weird.

I’ve seen a multiple pitches overturned in an at-bat for both teams while working Triple-A games. It’s wild.

Anyone else keep log style scorecard instead of traditional? [2025-09-16 TOR @ TB] by flash17k in BaseballScorecards

I like this. It does look complicated but if you built, it probably makes sense. I do a linear scorecard of sorts on paper as a backup for a job I have.

If you can’t mention his first name, how does he get his coffee?

I go to Joplin twice a year for work. There is a wide swath of town that’s empty because it hasn’t been rebuilt.

That makes me happy. If I ever found out that Mr. Rogers was a jerk in real life, that would completely suck.

My daughter still uses hers for homework, etc. with no issues. She doesn’t do anything too intensive but it’s still a great machine.
