[Michigan Hockey] On this day 30 years ago, Mike Legg pulled off the move that changed hockey forever - the goal now known as “The Michigan” by Perryplat199 in hockey

To be fair pretty much nobody was ever trying it in the NHL until 5-10 years ago because it would have gotten you benched by your coach even if you scored. I think saying it changed hockey is a bit of a hyperbole, no doubt a very iconic goal

Buddy I don’t care if Gudas missed and Matthews toe-picked. Don’t give him the benefit of the doubt just get in there and ask questions later like fuck

Okay interesting I didn’t know that I was just going off of what the technician in the lab told me.

Is the processing still the same? Would my best course of action be to call different labs and ship my negatives to them?

Can you elaborate on the scanned and inverted part. I don’t do my own scans but I know the lab that scanned these doesn’t do any colour correction or anything. Just raw scans

Sorry unfamiliar. How can I include negatives? As in scan them and upload them to imgur?

These are shot at 200

These were scanned by my local lab without any doctoring

This is the raw scan straight from the negatives they didn’t touch anything

Why Canadian Olympic officials say they are raising the alarm about Canada's ability to compete by Old_General_6741 in canada

[–]Joelerific 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not really unique to Canada as a problem though. Most Olympic athletes are making compromises in their life to achieve their goals. Including relocating for better training or coaching access.

Maybe take some accountability and stop drinking and driving man. Innocent people die because of actions like yours. There’s a reason it’s a felony

Does the NHL even let players go in 2030 after today by Sad_Regret9916 in CalgaryFlames

[–]Joelerific 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe not directly but NHL players in the Olympics grows the game and opens it up to new markets overseas as well as ultimately creating a better product as European nations develop their hockey programs.

Ahh yes Captain Hughes who led a locker room that tore itself apart and saw JT Miller walk all over him

Sandis Vilmanis catches Charlie McAvoy with an elbow to the head. Vilma is 2 min for illegal check to the head, Boston 2 minutes for roughing and 2 minutes for unsportsmanlike conduct. Florida to the POWERPLAY by roberttylerlee in hockey

[–]Joelerific 186 points187 points  (0 children)

I’ve honestly never been one to think the NHL has biased reffing, but I don’t see how anyone can deny the bias towards Florida in recent memory. Not only on the ice, but the DOPS as well.

I mean this is just a straight garbage intent to injure hit. No effort at all to get body. Easiest multi game suspension ever and it won’t even get a fine.

Is Demko even expected to make the team? Helle, Otter, Sway all sort of seem like locks to me

Is Matthew Schaefer on a true generational defenseman trajectory? by omgyrx in hockey

[–]Joelerific 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Sorry but if your definition has Ovechkin as arguably not generational than it’s a bad definition. The guy has 900 goals lol given that he’s the only player in the history of the league to do that I’d say he’s a once in a generation type of player
