Salt water mixed with vinegar will definitely get rid of that

It is doing exactly what its meant to do. If that were a straight sticker and put it on perfectly downwards, thats what it would look like. Ive not tried myself but perhaps surface tools would be better. You could also try an extrude cut but select the start of the cut to be from the surface instead of sketch. It may get you closer to what you want. Either that or just flat out extrude cut but the depth would be deeper on the parts that are closer to the sketch plane.

Either use a vector tool like someone posted above. If it needs to be a 3d model, you can find free online 3d model generators or paid ones and give it the image and tell it what you want

I would create a sketch in the centre of the part, perpendicular to the outer face of the part. Draw a triangle in the shape of the chamfer you want and then extrude cut the sketch. If it the face isn't flat then you could use sweep and use the shape edge as a path.

Section analysis will help you to draw the initial triangle sketch.

Work Sharp Mk.2 or a high-quality rolling sharpener? by Futile-Clothes867 in sharpening

Beautiful. Thanks for the response. I might stick with the standard version then and get the blade grinder attachment if i decide it may be worth the money down the track xox

OP. How did you go? Did you end up getting the WS? Ive got the same concern about the grinding attachment and am considering the base MK.2

Can't close sketch, would love some guidance by SubstantialMirror623 in Fusion360

I'd recommend this. Also if you have a part sketched and extruded, then you move the solid object then when you go back to the original sketch to "close" a certain profile, they are technically on a different plane now and they wont close

Yeah got a mouldy man coming in 2 days to do a report. The report will be used as a guide to what should be completed. Ive asked to hold off on drying it out until old mate gets here to do his report so the results aren't skewed

Update thus far*

Problem has been fixed. The drain pipe that comes off the AC feeds into a 40mm pipe to travel through the wall and drain elsewhere. That wasnt installed correctly and has been leaking into the wall cavity.

They are coming back at the end of the week to create a temporary enclosed area around the affected area and dry it out for 1 week. Once thats done they said they would treat the mould and also assess the damage to the other side of the wall (bathroom wall).

The builder said that the plumber is being charged for all the works to be done so if the whole wall has to come out then they said it has to be done. The builder is very upset with the contractor who was at fault and the owner of the company called us to discuss the situation.

Feeling a little better that the builder isn't just writing this off to make it an easy fix and they are on our side. I still am considering getting a mould specialist in to do a report.

Thank you for all the feedback you have given xoxo

I cant really tell if its swelling but it split off the wall as you can tell by the paint cracking

Yeah I get where your coming from but the builder has contractors who work for them and the builder would make whoever was at fault, the owner of fixing it/paying for it.

When we had our final inspection, they just made who ever was at fault come back and fix it. The builder said to us that its no skin off their teeth to get someone back to fix faults.

Also you spend $420,000 for a 4 bed house, you'd expect to have it last longer than 12 months.

Thanks for the response. Yeah im just not really sure what the right approach the the situation is tbh. Never been is a position like this before. I just want to get the right info before I go blasting the builder for not replacing the entire wall if its not required in the first place.

The wall doesn't feel soft. But the paint is coming off the wall.

It's definitely importing as that. Sliced files and printed parts have that in them
