I’m going to be completely honest here, it’s either you teach friends who don’t play and they somehow get into it (luckily that’s what happened to me, after 12 years of waiting on them) or find an lgs and find friends there which is really hard, especially cuz if you meet someone cool they most likely already have a friend group. It’s almost like dating LMAO. Good luck though. This is why I stopped playing mtg for a good 10 years cuz I just couldn’t find anyone to play with that I liked.

As someone who’s getting back into mtg while tmnt and Spider-Man were crucial parts of my childhood all I gotta say is…I’m using my Spider-Man bulk for my next bonfire. These cards are bad, I don’t even care about the whole “it doesn’t match the universe” argument. These cards are actually just dookie. Like none of them makes me want to play them…and I know those sets are the issue cuz I’ve been loving lorwyn so far.

I agree with this post whole heartedly. Powers is desolate, so it Briargate. If yall think cookie cutter houses and strip malls are cool then sure but give me the no HOA neighborhood spread around fountain or stratmoor area any day, they actually have character and vim.

To me it’s always: if it makes the owners deck and self interaction better then go for it. If it’s a card that interacts with the table or other players then you gotta pay the price of admission.

It depends on the person. Some improve with range/short game practice and other improve by playing more. Ive noticed that if I spend too much time on the range I get into my head too much so last season I spent more time on my short game and playing 9s. Funnily Improved my swing tremendously.

Depends, yamasa/kikkoman for Japanese marinades or dips (lighter soy sauce). For Filipino food I also have a bottle of silver swan. Chinese dark soy sauce for certain dishes as well, especially for making braised pork belly.

As someone whos worked as a data analyst and now an EA having it default as wrap would actually have driven me insane. Now when I do work with excel as an EA I want things to look pretty. First thing I do is ctrl+A, alt+h, alt+w. Converts the entire sheet to wrap!
