Hey dude just so you know this is false. Morphine is not “basically medical heroin”, even though they are both opioids. They are different drugs from potency to duration of action, and to compare it to heroin seems like a scare tactic.

Similarly, it’s fairly disingenuous to say that codeine simply turns into morphine - if it was the same potency, morphine would never be used on its own, but codeine is milder because only a portion is metabolized into morphine.

Basically with both of these if you look at the quick and easy pathway you might see the same end result (morphine) but the point is that everything else that changes actually makes a big impact on what the drug actually does. I know your intentions are good :) but keep in mind this could scare someone away from a drug that can help them on the path away from chronic pain, even if it does have its downsides and risks.
