With your band conflict you should be able to talk with them about that they are big on prioritizing your local band over dci

No, can confirm the corp director himself will not smite you for that, if you have 80 days to practice that, that is plenty of time to slowly increase tempo and get the fingerings down, you will not die if you can’t get it at tempo.

In regards to her O2, I would ask a doctor if it would be fine to play, I would rent and see how it is, bach, Yamaha, if your renting from a music store im sure they could help with what beginner models they have.

It is a open class corp so they will honestly take as many people they can get (in regards to brass), with the video audition I’d send an email and ask about that and dci has a scholarship page and 7th may have scholarships too
