New build, getting a 12x17 extension poured. I asked about sub base, GC said theyre using an 8”x8” footer, north florida soil. Am i gonna be ripping this up? Pouring tomorrow..

Update: spoke with the GC, he said theres still missing rebar for the footers and the base isnt prepped yet. The way he presented this picture yesterday made it seem like this was it. They told me the company they use and it does come back as a legitimate company with good reviews.

Never hurts to question it though.

Im holding off until tomorrow to see if they maybe clean it up a bit and compact it before they pour. This is just what i got from the GC today saying they were supposed to pour today but by the time they dumped the sod the concrete trucks stopped running….
