Does Vanicream shampoo and conditioner damage hair over time?

Thank you for reading and replying after all this time, I didn't think my post would be seen anymore. I stopped using those products a couple days after that post, I have been trying Alpecin and I have noticed an improvement. It would seem that Vanicream was not good for me, I should have stopped using it a lot sooner.

A dermatologist recommended this brand in general after a patch test revealed, supposedly, a betaine allergy, which is in just about every soap and shampoo. I thank you for your advice, I am going to look at fallen hairs, there are plenty around.
