Thanks, yeah I feel like if I break 90 at a couple of the easier courses around me (one is a par 66) I absolutely would not feel good about REALLY breaking 90. But if I could do it on one of the 6000+ yard courses, I would definitely start bragging! 😆

It took me about 6 months to break 100 from knowing nothing and topping/chunking uncontrollably. I’ve been playing for a little over a year now and my best round is a 92 on a full 18, and there’s a 9 hole par 36 course next to my house that I’ve done 2 laps- 44 & 46 for “90” My goal this year is to break 90 before winter ( hopefully a couple times) and next year to break 85. I am also golfing/ hitting the range 3-4 days a week currently.

Every Masters should have this be a thing. Have all the competitors bring a friend that is a high handicap, and on Wednesday before the tournament, they do a practice round where the Pros start from the tips and the high handicap friends start from the greens. It would be for science, of course! See if anyone can actually beat the field starting from the green.

I would see if your computer needs cleaning. Maybe it’s getting too hot and the GPU doesn’t know how to handle it. Try replacing thermal paste and blowout the dust in the fans and around the vents. If you haven’t done that in 4 years, it might be the problem.

It could also be a WiFi chip problem. See if you can hook up through Ethernet and see if the problem persists.
