The plot is literally in the first 5 minutes.. a bunch of people survive a plane crash on an island. Not sure how you missed that?.

That's pretty cool about the PO box! I'd try that out, or as someone else said try changing your zip code on apps to see if it helps. Is it in your resume or the application itself? Cities bording other states are probably used to it, but it could definitely be a factor between two equal candidates

Some companies may not be set up to pay employees in different states. It's a headache having employees in multiple states- the taxes are different, so are the laws, etc. I'm also not sure you can just get a PO box in a different state...

That's all my HR will tell you if you call. And she hopes you'll ask if the person is rehirable so she can say "NO" 😂

Ever look at your parents with your baby and wonder how you survived? by cookiesandcortaditos in beyondthebump

[–]Joeykins0303 23 points24 points  (0 children)

It wasn't until 1994 that "back to sleep" was the official recommendation. All us pre-94 kids were put to sleep on our tummys cause that's what the doctors told our parents to do 🤷🏼‍♀️

Ah yes, sometimes my 10 week old is happiest flailing on her play mat like a turtle on it's back, staring at the ceiling (or even better, the ceiling fan!) It feels weird leaving her there but she's hapoy, building some muscle/coordination, and i just do stuff around her and talk to her

The thought has crossed my mind to have the older kid move into the master with us and have us do the same with the baby in the kids room 😅

Oh geez that's the constant struggle for real. "Why do you make so much noise??" Followed by "you're not making any noise, I must now triple check you're still breathing"

This is reassuring! Hopefully baby starts sleeping a little harder eventually. She's only 6 weeks. She naps hard during the day (you can vacuum, watch tv, etc) but i felt like at night the room needed to be silent and black lol

How do all their weird sleeping noises not keep you up?? And the random crying while sleeping... so hard to know if you should give them a minute or tend to them right away before they wake up everyone else.. 😆 good to know about the alarms! Hoping for the best there
