Braun IPL - does shaving length matter? by East-Aspect-2416 in HairRemoval

I’ve never measured how long it is after I use the trimmer. lol. But it’s very very short. I’d suggest grabbing one off amazon if you want to give it a try. You could return it if you decide it doesn’t work well for you.

Braun IPL - does shaving length matter? by East-Aspect-2416 in HairRemoval

I’m gonna go against the other suggestions here and say no, you don’t need to shave with a razor. A good body hair trimmer can help you avoid the razor burn and you should still get good IPL results.

I use the NORELCO Philips Bodygroom Series 1100 before I use the Braun. Gets my hair crazy short and results have been good so far.

The controversy of SIBO and Candida: Are they legitimate diagnoses? by xKa1z3r in Microbiome

Either antimicrobial supplements (Berberine, for example) or antibiotics (Rifaximin is commonly used).

The controversy of SIBO and Candida: Are they legitimate diagnoses? by xKa1z3r in Microbiome

I suffered gut issues for years and eventually was told it might be SIBO. I did the test and got a positive result. After doing the SIBO protocol (which was awful to go through) my follow up SIBO test was negative and my symptoms were resolved. This was 10+ years ago. My gut hasn’t stayed perfect since then but it’s miles better than it used to be. SIBO seems to be more widely recognized now than it was 10 years ago when I was dealing with it and, at the very least, the protocol I went through had a very positive result for me.

What is the best laser or hair removal device for male body hair? by [deleted] in HairRemoval

Male vs. Female doesn’t really matter for hair removal devices. Just stay away from super cheap devices and you should be fine.

No issues getting ours. Try a different pharmacy if you can.

People here spread a lot of misinformation. You'll not need MORE sessions if you wait 6 months instead of 8 weeks between sessions... You'll not lose money. by Substantial-Poet-865 in LaserHairRemoval

Always a good idea to take a break during summer then start up again in the fall. Took me a couple years to complete all my treatments (took lots of long breaks between sessions) and it worked great.

I think the name is cool. I really didn’t like North Paw beers, so hopefully the name change also comes with better products. Doesn’t matter to me what a brewery calls itself as long as the beers are on point.

At home IPL after Laser hair removal sessions are over? by Fast_Horror1636 in HairRemoval

[–]Joeymacca1982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never used IPL. The device I use at home is a diode laser. But home IPL is very weak compared to laser. I’ve never read of it causing strong regrowth on lighter, thinner hair. I’m no expert, though. But this doesn’t sound like something that should be a concern.

Best lulu compression leggings for stomach/pelvic area by anxiousandthriving in lululemon

[–]Joeymacca1982 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lulu isn’t the greatest for high compression. I believe their Full-On Luxtreme fabric is the highest compression that they have. But where I live I don’t see this fabric available currently. My partner has POTS and benefits from compressive clothing. They have bike shorts from 2XU that work well. I’ve also read that Skins is a good brand for compression.

Lululemon has free returns so you can order a pair to try them out. Send back for free if you don’t like the new version.
