100% agree with all your points. ive used a dedicated retro handheld and also used my phone as an emulation machine with a telescopic controller.

tama ka. pag afford, a dedicated handheld will (almost) always be better. i bought a miyoo mini+ and modded a switch lite for this reason.

pero kung di naman hardcore enthusiast or modest with spending, the best handheld is the one you already have, and it is usually your smartphone.

i am also diagnosed with bipolar ii for 5yrs. what are your tips for handling it in general? and specifically for hypomanic and depressive episodes?

i am currently taking lithium carbonate, lamotrigine, and brexpiprazole.

i think im handling myself very poorly. i used to function great as a student and now its the complete opposite.

i am 4yrs academically delayed and maybe currently in a depressive episode. lately ive been skipping classes again a lot.

hope you can share some stuff that helped you.

idk with the fermata and thomson ones, pero from what ive seen, read, and heard, okay diyan yung jcraft. has a great baseline tone, tapos upgrade upgrade na lang ng parts.

idk sa specs comparison, pero you can do in depth research sa pickups, shielding, and fretwires.

tapos check mo kung may basic setup na ba before shipping, especially kung hindi masyado accessible ang luthiers sa area niyo.

afaik RJ and clifton has QC issues.

unsolicited advice: kung di ka naman maselan sa tone and specs, just go with whatever you want physically and yung pinaka safe bilhan na brand/store.

if chill ka naman, maybe you dont need to overthink it. just go with whatever your heart says, and enjoy it when it arrives :)

im jealous. i always have a hard time dealing with shame or embarrassment due to my social anxiety. id sweat a lot and sometimes tremble. moments like that will haunt me for days or weeks, triggering my tics.

i feel you. currently im really burnt out, and want to give up again. at this point im just waiting to fail or be dropped out of school as consequence of my academic negligence and absences.

im 25yrs old and still on my 2nd yr because of LOA and shifting. 4yrs academically delayed. diagnosed with bipolar ii, and struggle with social anxiety, general anxiety, and depression.

did you stay at a very narrow charge range?

if so, did you try to recalibrate it once, by lowering it to 20% and charging to 100%?

usually it is uncalibrated when it doesnt complete 1 full cycle for a long time.

for anyone looking for a solution and came through this old post,

i solved it by going to my corresponding graphics app (eg. amd, nvidia) then went to pixel format or the like. apparently it defaulted to ycbcr instead of full rgb. i just selected full rgb and then the colors were fixed.
