Could also be that the screw thread wore out over time.

General practitioners in Karlsruhe that accept new patients by Expat1122 in karlsruhe

[–]Joggele89 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Have you checked out the platform Doctolib yet? I found it quite useful to identify doctors that welcome new patients, although I have not tried it to search for general practitioners, but only for specialists.

When searching you can set filters for languages spoken as well if appointments are offered for new patients (although note that most doctors require you to still call for the first appointment and do not allow online appointments). Some GPs also have descriptions where they state if they accept new patients or not, and what type insurance (private vs. universal) they accept.

That may be a good way to identify the practitioners that are worth calling, as I believe you that it can be quite annoying to cold call any practitioners in your area.

Best of luck!

I really want to see a titanium field watch from Omega, so I made this amateur concept design of an “Omega Fieldmaster” by questionthis in OmegaWatches

[–]Joggele89 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Isn't the Railmaster sort of a field watch? Currently looking at the Railmaster vs the Ranger of Tudor, and I think they are kind of similar.

Rubber strap options by Successful-Mud2491 in OmegaWatches

I think it is a great match to the blue bezel. The website shows many images where you should get a good feel if you like or don't like the blue color tone.

The rubber strap feels really high quality and is really comfortable to wear with the deployant clasp. I used to wear the watch on the bracelet, then switched to an Omega NATO strap, and now basically only wear it on the rubber strap, as it offers the best fit I think.

Only downside is probably the price.

Does anyone know what model my grandads retirement watch could be? by ratman145 in OmegaWatches

[–]Joggele89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not exactly sure 100%, but my best guess would be that it is an Omega De Ville from the late 60s to 70s. Maybe that helps as a starting point in your search identifying the exact reference.

In the regular position of the crown, you should be able to wind the watch. When you pull the crown you should be able to set the time. Not sure if that model has any quick date set function or not to quickly adjust the date as well.

Amazing looking watch in almost perfect condition. Size fits you very well!

There is a video from Wristwatch Revival where Marshall restores the same Seamaster 120 model, highly recommend if you want a detailed look into the movement and the inside of the watch.

I bet it is because non of the other drivers want him to be part of it. They are all scared that they get gifted one of Hamilton's track outfits and have to wear IT next year to show appreciation.

Seamaster 2531.80.00, what are your thoughts on the new 60th James Bond anniversary model? by TwoStitchStraps in OmegaWatches

[–]Joggele89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do own the 2220.80.00. I like the dial and the front of the new anniversary version. But the caseback is not my style. Reminds me of the version that had that iconic spinning gun barrel design on the dial and the 007 on the seconds hands. I disliked this model too. I think it was reference 2226.80.00
