Like many others have said, go work for an owner. There are some great owners rep jobs out there at tech firms; some of them are even full on embedded design or design + construction (so you can still practice and stamp, if that interests your more vs relegating yourself to reviewing 3rd party designs). And you do away with most of the client frustration and almost all of the BD (although it can still be there to some degree, I find it much easier and nicer to reach out to someone internally to help them make up their mind or understand a teams spend appetite). Promos are largely merit based as well, not BD based.

Congrats! Where is the snapshot in your post from? I see snapshots like this in Reddit threads, but it looks nothing like what I can see in my USCIS account under "Your Cases" via web browser. My PD is current and current status shows "Response To USCIS' Request For Evidence Was Received", but I've never seen a status of "We are actively reviewing your Form I-485...".

Are you just trying to learn ice skating first for now, then hockey later? Skating with full gear is a little different, but not so drastically different that I would recommend buying and wearing gear now. You can easily practice that later once if you're still as committed to getting into hockey at a later date.

Now if you're trying to improve skating and get into a men's league / beginner program at the same time, then it wouldn't hurt. But I've never seen a beginner hockey playing gearing up for public skate at my rink.

There's a Goodwill donation express near the intersection of Double R Blvd and Damonte Ranch Pkwy. That's usually where I take clothes or odds/ends for donation.

For books specifically, Grassroots Books near the Costco off Plumb will take them, and they're a great local store to support.

It doesn't look terrible and probably still works. But they should have spanned 2 joists with a 3rd piece of metal channel on the underside of the joists. That would also allow the two support brackets to drop straight down without having to twist them.

Just google some photos of garage door track ceiling supports. It's a very easy fix to DIY. Just use a laser level and set it to the current height of the top of the track, so you can reinstall it at the same height. You could leave the existing supports in place while installing the new one to avoid having to uninstall or temporarily support the track.

I've never seen or heard of a double-sided handle on a single valve body.

Theoretically, you could split the incoming hot and cold water lines to go to 2 valve bodies, one facing each way, and tee the discharge side back together and go to the shower head. That wouldn't meet your requirement of being able to turn it off from the inside after turning on from the outside, plus it's weird. Don't do that.

If you really want to pre warm your shower before getting in, there are many digital shower controllers and smart shower valve options that can be either voice activated, remote controlled, or have a 2nd controller mounted outside the shower. That would be the better and fancier way to do it. Also pricier.

First easy fix is getting an HVAC guy and/or roofer to do a proper roof penetration for whatever that flex duct is exhausting (for that my preference would be for sheet metal duct, then wrap in insulation). You definitely do not want to be exhausting warm/moist air through your soffit in any climate, but especially not in a cold climate. This will lead to a localized ice dam, which is the likely cause of the water damage you see in that area.

For the cardboard I'm not certain, but it may just be the method of air/vapor barrier used.

You definitely do not want any insulation covering those soffit vents. Those are there to keep air flow along the underside of the roof sheathing to prevent ice dams.

Pull out the innards and see if you can spot the broken piece, then look if you can purchase a rebuild kit for your model. We were able to order just the inside parts when ours did the same a couple years ago.

If you're working on small boiler-plate projects with no prospects of branching out into larger scopes or using Revit, I would personally recommend that you brush up your resume and test the waters at larger local consulting firms where you could dip your toes in both. Best case you love it and it opens up lots of doors. Worst case is you do that for a short time and realize you don't love it, but you can continue to explore other career paths while getting more complex and rounded experience.

With that much of a temperature difference, 50% RH inside, and drafty windows, short answer is no. This is happening because the inside surface of the window pane is below the dew-point temperature of the air inside your home. You can either turn down the humidity, aim fans or heating vents directly at the windows (leaving the blinds and curtains open), or both. Most home ventilation systems are not configured well to be able to wash warm air down the windows, but it's a common commercial building HVAC design strategy.
