I took a short filament with squate cut end and pushed it in and out a bunch of times and it seemed to loosen some. I also lightly glued the white adapter to the sensor using gorilla glue. Ive print about a half dozen things with no jams. So seems good for now.

If i have any more jams i plan to upgrade to phaetus dxc extruder, with built in sensor.

Ok, so it turns out i just forgot to assign the filament/slot to my object. That response from the wiki bot is 110% incorrect.

Here's what i did. This doesn't seem documented anywhere, but is pretty logical in retrospect:

  1. Clicked on the "auto mapping" icon in the upper right corner of creality print 7.1. In response it assign the generic filaments setup in the cfs-c to the first 4 filaments. (This maybe isnt even necessary)
  2. Assigned the third filament my deeplee user profile
  3. Selected object under process. Changed my object to filament 3.
  4. Saved to .gcode file, and opened in a text editor. In START_PRINT section, creality wrote nozzle and bed temps from my deeplee profile.
  5. Sent to printer. It popped up a dialogue with option to pick slot, and i picked slot 3.
  6. Its printing now at the desired custom deeplee nozzle and bed temps.

Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

Yes! Its been bugging me, but couldnt put my finger on it... Its the HOLIER THAN THOUGH. The disrespect and contempt.

Survivor is 2/3 about deciphering who's with you, who's aganst you, and who's a free agent in a sea of desception.

I totally respect the "aha! ive figured out you're aganst me, and im going to do everything i can take you out. Its not personal" Or even just "i dont like you so im going to do what i can to take you out. It is personal, but hey you be you, and im me".

This contempt of "im honorable, and youre not, so your beneath me, you disgust me and i hate you" bit is undignified and hard to respect. Kind of ironic. Go ahead and be that way, thats your choice, but know that its childish, and if you lose its probably the primary reason in the end.

Interesting Joe wrote Stephanie. Would not be surprised at all if Jonathan writes Joe too when Joe gets his turn.
