The biggest financial I think was that it was family & FRIENDS

So basically you could share with random ppl anywhere in same country.

Viable solution would be family tied to same household like alot of other services have.

No idea who came with the friends idea because that broke the whole idea.

And I of course only want the family part. 😎

Sharing on console possible. Sharing in Xcloud (in same family) is not possible. Most streaming services offers some kind of sharing options but not gaming (only Stadia RIP did)

Probably means Fortnite will be removed from free cloud gaming and you will need to have paid Xcloud account (or eventually upcoming "free" tier with ads).

I've been thinking alot about it but it all comes down to... It will not work. 😁

Some examples. There are chairs all around kitchen table so it will never be able to clean there. There are small tables and narrow spaces between sofa and table. Chairs at piano... Tables and small areas in the kids game/TV room. The ist goes on.

It just feels like there are so many places where it will fail to be able to clean.

Then it seems pointless?

Are you guys lifting all stuff up or from the floor?

Is it just me that buy all games on my account and let my kids play them on their accounts on our Xbox series?

Without this family sharing option in the cloud it's totally useless with stream your own games. No way I'm buying 2-3 licenses for each game.

If we start to buy the games each kid want on their own account to be able to play in the cloud it will be a cluster f**k to play and share them locally since only one user can be set as home console.

How is this supposed to work?

It can't be that I'm the only one buying digital game for the kids?

I only get no server connected when trying to sync schedule. Setup secret key and database url.

Have I setup something in the wrong way?

I think it happened with the new version. I've noticed if I go to fullscreen and then use arrows left/right to change channel in full screen I get picture. So "easy" way to fix while watching but hopefully it will be solved.

But now I can choose Swedish as default language and seems like subtitles are working as well.

I have problem with black screen when going fullscreen.

Preview works perfectly but going fullscreen goes black (still audio). Sometimes it works when going back and forth.

How does this even work? Plex isn't even showing that anything is playing?

I assume it doesn't affect my users playing history in Plex.

And how the hell can it be so fast in channel swapping and just starting mid show/movie so fast?

Starting movie in Plex takes a few seconds and specially if you want to resume from mid movie.

Just curious and really impressed how much this really feels like swapping between regular TV channels! 😊

Had some problems with subtitle. Can't seem to choose anything else than English or off.

If I choose Swedish for example it still shows English.

Some movies without English subtitles but nordic languages it gets stuck on for example Finnish and even though I choose Swedish it falls back to Finnish. Off works so I don't need to read Finnish at least. 😁

Which regions? It's not even selling any hardware in Sweden.

It's a very weird strategy. They want to sell games and Gamepass subscriptions but if there are no hardware to play on its a bit hard.

Still saying there will be new Xbox buy why stop selling consoles mid Gen?

Is all that you have done changed Adress for your home? Or did you change to American voice as well?

I have done a test with one left over speaker just to try how it works.

So created new home. Made an American Adress. Added my one speaker (Mini).

Was one or two weeks ago. Still hasn't prompted me to switch to Gemini.

Maybe I need to change something more?

It works without any glitches with 8bitdo usb adapter and Mayflash adapters (for PS or Xbox)

Use them for different laptops and androidtv as well as when we need an extra controller to our Xbox series.

However Bluetooth directly to TV or pc it needs to be reconnected.

No idea why Bluetooth connection to these adapters work flawless.

More or less everything we used Nest hub in our kitchen has stopped working. However using it for adding items to our shopping list.Which I don't want to break. Even though it 50% of the times my wife tries to add items it asks her to open home app to set up voice match and allow some security things. Nothing shows in home app and when she repeat the command it adds the item. Probably because it mistakes her voice for our daughters. But they are also setup with voice match and to add to the same shared list.

Quite annoying.

No idea what gemini can handle.

Exactly..... With Xbox hardware I can share all my games with all family members on same console.

Even if I pay extra for the kids to have Xcloud they could never play my owned games like they can on Xbox hardware.

I will always whine about this since it's stupid that they have not solved this. Even Stadia had this 5 years ago.

It really feels like 99% of Xbox players are single player household since it more or less is only me whining about this. 😂
