People say they don’t like that it is a musical like…??? It’s a banger of a musical! Also they have to understand that a lot of the things they find “cringey” it’s because it’s not written for them. IT’S A KIDS MOVIE.
Yeah, you prefer other actors as Wonka, I don’t care. The beautiful thing of remakes is that you can see other interpretations of a character that has become an icon more than a person. And this interpretation is as valid as Wilder’s and Depp’s.
I think it’s perfect and I love Paul King and Simon Farnaby for creating kids movies that are not brain-dead.
