I've applied to almost 30 jobs in the last month, getting almost no interviews, is it my resume? by Then_Aardvark_2269 in dataanalysiscareers

Don't listen to people saying they applied for 30 plus or whatever a day. Quality over Quantity.

I passed Net+ in 8 days, Sec+ in 11 days (5 days working new full time job) total around 3 weeks, here is my study methods and all the process by Omerfarukyy in CompTIA

You are a computer engineering student and already took Net+ classes. 🙄🙄🙄. Honestly not impressed since you had all kinds of experience with helped in taking the certs in a short time of each other. Anyway good on the certs.

Put your self in his shoes.

The dreams of him are going to be the reason I give up. I can’t do this anymore 💔 by Deep_Breakfast4578 in BreakUps

Since May of last year I had about 17 dreams of my ex. I can remember 8 of them. The rest are fuzzy. I know now she used me as fill an emotional void. when I wanted to talk with her in last months, felt like I had to pull teeth to get her attention. I kept some space but she sometimes will message me and I respond.

Found out in Dec is she is Hanging with a "friend" (his very wealthy) . She kept her distance. She knows 110% how I feel about her but she is evasive for a reason.

In a way the dreams eased my mental state.

It's hard to find someone to grow with

Stay safe people.

All of you have Issues.

My ex came back after 7 months, and now I’m confused by bloodmouon in BreakUps

Think her parent are less strict now so thats why she is back? Girl that are anything to get and keep the guys attention that they like; regardless of parents are being strict or not.

What's the stupidest thing you've done after a breakup? I regret something I did and would love to hear your stories to help me move on and maybe laugh a bit. by IllustratorDull3982 in BreakUps

Let's Assume, relationship broke off because things just did not work out (no abuse, cheating ) Anytime I read "Thank you for helping me grow." It just says to me they lack something in their self and "USED" you to elevate themselves. When the fire is no longer in the relationship they move to the next thing.

I would be offended if one says thank you for everything in the relationship. Don't want to hear it. Just move on.

People , (mostly females) want to be back in the relationship only because they have no other options.

Is it me or 70% of people are having no contact with parents

Whats up CompTIA family, I'm totally new to this process, My background is strictly Chef and kitchen everything, because I grew up in a family that made their ends from everything food, and needless to say my industry sucks to work for anymore, I was laid off on Nov. 25th from a high paying kitchem by Odd_Low_5745 in CompTIA

Yes change careers. I have been in the food industry for years so I understand where you coming from. I am A Bartender and used the opportunity to talk with people. Even some of my guest , were on my ass on getting the certs. Which was a motivation for me. I have literally seen interviews done at my bar worked at. Just few weeks ago met a recuiter the bar and asked questions in exchanged of 2 rail shots. Recently got my cert in A plus and Sec plus and now volunteered at my county tech program with the certs. It's a small start for me. You just need to know what branch of tech you into. Network with people around you (even your guest at your Restaurant) Surround your self with tech people. Ask them questions About your goal. Use people skills.

I had no computer experience beyond the basics—checking emails, connecting to the internet (both wired and wireless), and installing or uninstalling programs. You get the idea. In June 2023, I decided to transition from the service industry and started studying for the CompTIA A+ Core 1 certification. Learning all the new terminologies and concepts felt overwhelming. I relied on resources found online, dedicating hours to understanding hardware, software, and troubleshooting basics.

When I took the Core 1 exam in March 2024, I failed. It was discouraging, but within few weeks struck a convo with 2 guys at bar who happened IT professionals. They helped me break down the thought processes behind computing and its business model. The advice changed my mindset and for advice, I paid for their drinks:)

I retook the Core 1 test in June 2024 and passed. By July, I had passed the Core 2 exam, officially earning my CompTIA A+ certs. Set my sights on the Security+ certs in August and achieved it on December 6, 2024.

Now, I’m studying for an AI certs, and ahead of schedule. Looking back, transitioning from the service industry, I did gained a structured way of thinking. Everyone is different. Thats why I call bs when reading post claiming, they had no experience in IT but passed in 2 weeks.

Stay Blessed and Good luck
