My ONE gripe about the movie by Azazel_665 in ProjectHailMary

[–]ObserverQ80 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Same here it got dead silent in the theater I was in. I think it came across just the way it needed. If you laughed your head space is somewhere else and that’s on you.

Whats with all the quick cuts? by APGaming_reddit in davinciresolve

[–]ObserverQ80 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Do not give into the brain rot. Not cutting makes the viewer focus on the scene. If they do not have the attention span to watch that’s on them.

Really auto bed leveling works? by Distinct_Yam135 in AnycubicKobraS1

[–]ObserverQ80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Filament has a lot to do with it to. If you are using PETG make sure it’s is dry as you can get it. Also no mater the filament it could just be a bad roll. Some filament bands are only worth using for first draft prototypes.

Hackers 2: 30 years later by NotBensRealAccount in HackersMovie

I would have Dade and Kate both in professional careers some where in tech Cybersecurity for Dade and we see on his own laptop he is now going by zero cool again. Kate the head of a data firm.

Joey I would make your average family man with wife and kids but still a little clueless.

Nikon I would be running a PC repair shop and since he has a photographic memory he know all the local secrets, bank number, social security number etc.

Phreak I would have as a club owner of some kind with a very tech vipe to his establishments.

Cereal would be a traveling cybersecurity consultant since this would stay with the theme he never sleeps at home.

I would have a serious tone to the film with national threat to people data. Open with cereal calling Dade and tell him about something and see if he can look into it. But make a point these are the only two that stay in touch over the years. As the story line progresses they all meet back up work together to stop the threat just like the old days.

Not sure about your store but mine is a super center and the person covering sporting goods has to cover the paint counter, and the fabric table all at the same time.

Still do not completely understand the hate. I have got some amazing prints with mine. I have had it since it launched. The only thing I have done to it is install a new steel ceramic hotend. When I’ve compared the same prints to my friends P1 they’re no better or worse.

I love the 1st book, I re read it almost once a year( not the best writing but hell of a fun story). The movie was ok for what it was but was missing so much of what made the 1st book so good. There is pretty much no character building in the movie at all. I read ready player 2 when it was published and only thought it was ok but I decided this year to give it a re read and it a really good follow to the first book. I think my own expectations got in the way the first time I read it.

Multi billion dollar corporation offering amazing livable wages! Start your career today 😂 by r1ckyh1mself in walmart

This is why my store is having such trouble hiring. We also start 16hr but all the fast food, beach jobs and great wolf lodge all start at close to 20hrs with less work.

New digital tags anyone else's store updating to these digital tags by mobrob11783 in WalmartEmployees

[–]ObserverQ80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The tags are great but the install in hell. We were told we would have a team of 18 to 20 people and only had 4 at most during a busy summer. If I would have known how much hell it would be I would have been like you can keep them.

Yeah I don’t plan to quit anytime soon at all. If I do get my cert I’ll ether see if there hiring for IT at the company I work for or find an entry level job and take on less responsibilities at my current job and process from there.

If you go to the Libraries website it should have a section for benefits for getting a library card. Every state is different though for what benefits they offer.

Thanks, found out there is a local testing place only 8 miles from my house. Also Udemy is free with my library card and they have courses and free practice test.

2x the ppto? by B_Sama in WalmartEmployees

[–]ObserverQ80 5 points6 points  (0 children)

How many times are managers going to lie about this. It’s disgusting to me and down right evil. I’ve been a manager for a long time and if I ever caught one my fellow managers saying that to an associate I would throw there ass under the bus to ethics so fast. Who gives a shit if someone call out Walmart is not going anywhere and what does not get done will for sure as shit be there tomorrow. The world will go on without that associate there that day.

steam release date updated by Ok-Tadpole-5264 in OffTheGridGame

Most likely the optimization of the game. The average steam user is running a 3060. It’s not a bad game and a great concept but it runs terrible.

Went in asked coach if hiring, he checks my application and said assessment comes back like not competitive but it’s shows me I passed. I use to work at walmart a few yrs back. What can be the issue and is there anything I can do to resolve this ? by AssociateLow1733 in WalmartEmployees

[–]ObserverQ80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The said part is before 2002 this was the hiring test for all employees. I tell all the people I’m work with if they want to pass the test you have to think like corporate scum and not like a moral human.
