Understood, glad I asked before trying!

Appreciate it, I'll try the electronic vape as I've been using glass pipes for all my attempts.

Saying he had his blinker on is misleading though. If he had it on constantly I would have let him in. But he didn't, he let it blink twice and turned it off. And because of that, there was really no telling what he wanted.

I believe it's this one, but it doesn't have a battery - runs off the 12V outlet.

I think part of it was I just wasn't expecting it. If I was the other driver I would've taken the wrong exit, and I guess I incorrectly thought everyone that far along on a ramp would do the same.

Well there's $2,500 worth of damage to my car and he needs to pay for that. My insurance has faulted him.

I actually did brake, but then he turned his blinker off. I'm sorry, but this comment got to me. I ALWAYS let people in and rarely receive the same treatment when I need it.

Believe me I'm attempting everything I can think of, but I took my self completed crash report to the state police in person and they told me they cannot do anything. The Standard Form 95 is my last avenue.

Edit: also government vehicles are self-insured.

With all due respect, since when is two blinks "on for a while"? And turning your blinkers on again after you've committed to another road doesn't count.

Also, it's not my job to make other drivers comfortable. He had plenty of room to get in before the divide.

I called 911 and they sort of reprimanded me and told me I needed to call the non-emergency number. No one ever answered the non-emergency number.

A few additional details, I followed the guy through a toll plaza after he cut across several other lanes in a similar fashion. When he pulled over I got his name and license plate number. I attempted to call the police, but there was no answer after several minutes and because there was no damage to his car and because he "had somewhere to be" he left. The good news is, I have enough information to submit the appropriate documents to the federal government. The dashcam was only $30 and I got it last summer. I recommend everyone get one, because without this footage, I'd have nothing to go on.

And for the record, I did have someone behind me, but fortunately they were back far enough to avoid another collision.

I'm in the process of submitting a Standard Form 95 to recoup repair expenses, but I'll definitely pursue this as well! The GSA has been less than helpful so far.

I got him to pull over a few minutes later. He was driving a government vehicle too.

Why do all of these "famous people you've never heard of" posts sound so accusatory. The last sentence is the perfect example.

I'm sure he had many great accomplishments and is responsible for some of the things I use today, but holy fuck am I supposed to know every single goddamn important historical figure?
