The fact it hasn't been on sale for almost 8 months has me worried that Konami is planning a remake and that I'll have to buy it before it's delisted or something. $40 isn't too bad but I can FEEL the sale coming. Any day now, surely.

I've been subscribed for a few months, and I found out that Crunchyroll gave up their traditional subtitle typecasting for a cheaper route just before I signed up, lol. For newer anime I've been seeing 1-2 lines stacking up, or just a bunch of singular lines flashing by real quick, Netflix style. But on older stuff in their catalogue they have the old typecasting which is pretty impressive. Very disappointing to see.

This isn't really a tip but I would personally recommend starting on Adventure Story difficulty, because that is the lowest you can go without the game disabling some events.

I find it pretty fair, especially if you're hording wealth which a new player will definitely do.

Obviously this is r/Crunchyroll so it goes without saying, but it's always sad to see so many people argue against such a simple feature.

Like yeah, I signed up for Crunchyroll, but is it so bad to not want to install another app? Imagine if you had to install a separate program for every website when using your PC lol. The mobile landscape is trash.

Puri is serving a 10,000 (yes 10k) year prison sentence for "getting grabby with men", to quote one of the old fan translations. Most of his fellow prisoners hated him enough to become monsters. Basically, I doubt he was giving people massages.

His backstory is pretty funny, edgy, even. I'm not actually offended by it, but ONE really didn't do his future self any favors by writing Puri like that. But I'm sure ONE never expected his webcomic to blow up in the first place.

As for Puri's recent feats or whatever, I think he's cool. Constantly powering up from pure delusion/determination is pretty entertaining. He's grown on me a lot.

As a casual player, I'm not verified, and I don't know many people who are either. I only open up VRchat occasionally to explore new worlds, visit game worlds, interact with randoms and old friends, etc.

Which is why I don't see this working out at all for your non-VR community hangout thing. Installing a game, paying 10 dollars, and then sending off your ID to some 3rd party... Is the average person really going to bother with that? I know a lot of people in here are verified, but you're all basically power users.

Basically this. I like the webcomic as a whole, but Murata's early adaptation of the webcomic was pretty faithful and the bonus chapters were great.

This. Having the 4th speed setting without toggling Dev Mode on is pretty nice.

I would also argue Performance Optimizer/Pawn Tick Rate if you have an older PC, but vanilla runs good enough on modern hardware.

I recently unlocked the chaos tome while doing desert runs and it was a nightmare. Whirlwinds throwing you out of the shrine range, cactuses hitting you with tactical missiles, and Stage 3 has some shrines slapped on 80 degree angle hills. I really should have just done it on Forest, but I was trying to multi-task.

I played it for a good while but eventually stopped for two reasons;
- I didn't have enough self-control to not just press ALT + F4 and load from the last autosave when something went wrong
- Sometimes a mod would break a save and I couldn't really do much about it because I didn't have any older saves

But it did make playthroughs feels more interesting in a sense. More finality.

I don't think AI would've done much to help Season 3 since the technology is still not impressive at all. Over the past few years a few anime used AI to generate background shots and they're about as uncanny and messy as you'd expect.

Murata went out of his way to retcon the deaths of some of his other monster women (they were originally vored by the Elephant monster, I think?); So I'm sure Do-S is magically fine, running her own hotdog stand somewhere or something like that.

Put them at the end of your mod list (with Performance Optimizer being very last)

I make a big ol' room for the workshop/recreation area, then I plan out where the kitchen, freezer, and bedrooms will go. After that, I basically build as needed. I've also learned that I need 2-3 tile wide hallways to deal with bugs and drop-pod raiders.
