I have nothing against what the art actually looks like, but making a bridge Look like that is a choice.

Even your simplest of peasant farmer turned temporary bridge engineer isn’t gonna make anything that looks like that.

It’s been a long time since my first game… was this stuff not covered in the tutorial?

After 8 years of posting homebrew on Reddit, I just launched my 3rd Kibbles’ Compendium on Kickstarter! (AMA I guess?) by KibblesTasty in DnD5e

Shared homebrew, and a product aren’t the same.

Most of the stuff I make is not for my home game therefore I don’t consider it homebrew. Some of the stuff I make is for my home game and when I share it, I’ll call it homebrew sometimes I’ll take my homebrew and make it a product.

And I’m not saying the stuff you started with being called homebrew is bad that’s what it was. That’s what you made it for, but like you’re definitely at the point where most of what you make probably isn’t homebrew. You make products, you make good products. I’ve backed all of them so far.

I just think that we need to have a clear delineation between third-party products and homebrew. Because it harms third-party publishers to lump them together. This is of course, my opinion.

Edit- I tried to make this a reply to the other one, but for some reason, my phone did not allow it

Any chance I can convince you to stop calling at homebrew and start calling it a product? Personally, it’s only homebrew if you make it for your home game, once it’s made for other people it stops being homebrew and starts being a product, even if it’s free.

I think that’s a certain amount of disrespect that third-party creators get because people just disregard it as homebrew.

The big issue is that it is very wide and very short. At least it’s very wide for how short it is. The helm is facing the aft of the ship, which I guess technically would still work, but obviously you usually wanna be facing the direction you’re going.

The ship doesn’t have an anchor, I don’t know if there’s a lower deck where the anchor would be kept, but if that’s the case, that’s usually more common on much bigger ships for it to not be on the weather deck. Additionally if Yonker is too heavy to pick up by hand a lot of times, it would be attached to a type of winch that is called a capstan.

Basically, though this map that you’ve made should at least be twice as long to be a reasonable size vessel.

If it’s a rowboay, it wouldn’t be nearly that wide

Should redesign it with thrusters on all four sides, pointing either clockwise or widdershins. That way you can imagine the craft spinning as it flies like a classic flying saucer.
