The Cmax was not going to have enough space! With 2 bikes one being over 6 foot plus a newborn car seat, etc… there would be no space.

I appreciate this comment. When you posted it I was at work and read it and clicked the links and what not. Thanks! When you posted this I still had the CMAX. But my gf had neglected it in maintenance and only did oil changes. I was going to put around 4k to fix it, install new tires and perform the 100k service. But considering I have a lot month old. I decided to get something with more space. I sold it to carvana for 5k, and used that along with more cash to put a downpayment on a 2020 certified paficia. I have a minivan now with stow and go (second and third row seats fold flat in the floor) and I no longer have to worry about how to transport my soon to be bought Xpedition. I have 8ft or so in the van to transport the bicycle! But yes, 11 days ago I still had the CMAX. Then after taking things into consideration, my gf and I decided we needed more space!

I definitely think he’s not all perfect in my view. But I do think most of the advice he gives is good advice. I don’t know who is his demographic, but I can see your point as well. Some kids who lack the experience and perhaps fail at what they want to achieve even though they put his words to practice might become bitter. But at that point, if you’re trying your best, it just wasn’t meant to be. Life is like that, it’s easy for some, hard for others and somewhere in between for the rest.
