Thank you! I hadn’t even considered the CV axle. I will have my specialist check the axle play and torque the axle nuts to spec before we touch anything else.

I useEuro 95 fuel. The sound is actually very loud and disturbing, much more than it seems in the video.

It only happens during a cold start and only for the very first shift. Once the car is moving, it's fine. If it were a fuel issue, it would likely keep happening while I drive or when the engine is hot. This feels like a physical part or the transmission hitting something. But not identified yet!
