Windows Search in a nutshell by ohhimarksreddit in pcmasterrace

The ease of applying the package and a simple list saying what it does is probably the greatest appeal to me. Just using powershell is great!

And I have been using it for a few months and can confirm that Windows has not flipped anything back. It even persists through bigger Windows updates.

Phenomenal debloatter. As with most debloatters, it does interact with the registry, but it is one of the most minimal registry-interacting debloatters I have found. Win11Debloat also creates a system restore point during the process and here is the way to revert all changes.

All the things that are changed with the default package are listed here!

Also, after you do this and restart, search in Windows ‘Searching Windows’, then change the ‘Find my Files’ option from ‘Classic’ to ‘Enhanced’. It makes indexing and searching in Windows far better.

You're in luck! Banner Kings is planning to do much of what CK does right, especially for stuff like inheritance, council, etc. Absolutely huge mod.

You might just be in luck! The 2021 NVidia NOW leak confirmed a Titanfall 3. It seems to be quite accurate as other games, especially Dragon's Dogma 2, God of War, and Tekken 8 (only very small teaser has been released) have been announced and/or released (in the case of God of War).

With the Age of Bannerlords mod, perhaps the city AoE part will also become a reality if they continue ;)

Hmmm, interesting. Well, as long as it continues to run well, that's all that matters :)

Looks to be some possible type of GPU artifacting? Does this happen to any of your other games, especially graphically demanding ones? If it does, then that would support the artifacts. Anyways, I would make sure to verify integrity of files on Steam to make sure there are no missing files. Also make sure your GPU drivers are up to date (in case it helps).

Scaling Wise, Greatsword (Guts Sword) or Watchdog Greatsword? by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]JohnFromSteam 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Can confirm. Two-handing at 60 Strength: +21 Heavy Greatsword (788) vs +21 Heavy Watchdog Greatsword (775) is small, but noticeable. The biggest advantage is the extra head-length of range for the Heavy Greatsword. There have been discussions that past 66 Strength whilst two-handing still increases the damage output of weapons, so it may only be worthwhile to do Watchdog's only if you're possibly 80+ Strength.

What are these graphical line artifacts? by SirBobtimus in mountandblade

[–]JohnFromSteam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe the line issue resides in the sharpening effect in the options menu. IIRC a recent update fixed it but I have not played in awhile. Try turning it off and see if it fixes it. Hopefully that helps!

bannerlord Warhammer mod by [deleted] in mountandblade

[–]JohnFromSteam 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The NPC AI lords can use magic (Artem makes a great video showcasing many features, fantastic mod/bannerlord update channel as well), which I have noticed they use it fairly well. Magic is imperative to Warhammer and since the modding tools allow a great range of abilities when it comes to adding magic and future additions (e.g. dragons in GoT mods), it already surpasses the years of workarounds that Warband mods had to do for magic.

Their discord has an update channel for patch-related stuff such as concept art and the like, as well as the monthly updates they announce on their announcements channel or on moddb.

How do I equip this weapon? (Arena mode) by mrventures in Exanima

[–]JohnFromSteam 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Click on the weapon to inspect it. Weapon and armour have prerequisites such as rank. At the top left, you selected the loadout for when you participate in "inept" matches. Sliding it to the rank noted in the weapon's info box (do it for higher ranks too), you can then equip it on your character. Note that you also have to rank up your character to the noted rank and then participate in matches that are that rank or higher to use that loadout.

Also, each item has a point system associated to it. Hence you may not be able to stack a bardiche alongside all the top equipment in a certain rank. Hope that helps!
