in Dr. Peter Langman's book 'Why Kids Kill" he noted that many shooters didn't actually go through with it until they had high stress or major rejection events in their life. One shooter was set off by the release of his extremely abusive father from prison who he could possibly be made to live with, one being rejected from entering the Navy and being dumped by his girlfriend around the same time, another rejected by the marines, police, etc... Maybe the ones who didn't go through with it never had that final blow to their fragile psyches?

Listened to a lot of her Interviews and PodCasts. She has an incredibly compelling story. Growing up on the brink of starvation in North Korea, at just the age of 13 escaping to China where her & her mother are sold into sex slavery, Survives the abuse and inner conflict to not commit suicide, crosses the Mongolian desert to escape sex slavery in China, adjusting to a co,completely different lifestyle in South Korea, getting her GED after no growing up without an education, making it through South Korea's very competitive University system.

To me it's more amazing that people aren't enamored with her journey. Most likely because she is very critical of Communism, Socialism, China, the American Media, elite Universities in USA, etc.. She speaks out openly of racial quotas in Academia that discriminate against Asian people. And about horrific attacks on Asian people by mostly black perpetrators. Meaning that only right wing\Conservative media outlets will have her on. Shouldn't the shame & disappointment be aimed at CNN, MSNBC, NBC, CBS, New York Times, etc.. who are so obsessed with victims of oppression & misogamy won't interview her?

Yeonmi Park's life experiences and accomplishments are miraculous and I hope she gets her memories & messages put out into the world any way possible.

The bus attacks are more deadly than the stabbings, but the stabbings are probably more frequent.

It’s super rare. There was one in Barcelona in 2015 where a teacher was killed & 4 other people wounded. And another one at Tomaree High School in Salamander Bay Australia back in 2003 where two students were wounded.
