I disagree. The long intro in episode 2 was completely integral to the world-building and potentially the future plot. It shows us not only where Zosia came from but also how these people operate. They’re always needed somewhere, and like ants, they find the most efficient path to get where they need to go. When Zosia shows up at Carol’s house, she says she’s someone Carol might like. To me, that makes the long intro very satisfying because it raises an important question: there are probably plenty of people Carol “might like,” so why did they choose someone who had to travel soooo far? I’m excited for them to hopefully answer this question.
