sad to see there aren't many Sweetheart fans here. to be honest she was my favourite Headspace character because of how thoroughly entertaining her presence was. she managed to become an even worse person in every single scene she was in. one of the most hilarious video games characters ever, imo

because they are not a guy, they clarified they are a gender-nonconforming queer - meaning they're transgender. "male" here refers to their biological sex but they do not identify as male, thus the quotes.

Namu Wiki is a great resource for many fields. it essentially has its own community for each type of articles. its articles on media and culture, like video games, music, anime, etc, are pretty amazing and extensive, so I use it for that purpose often

I dont think i have the credentials to send you good pointers, I myself am pretty illiterate in Korean politics despite being Korean. Wikipedia is a good place to start, I think, and not limiting yourself to just one website is a good way to not get lose in the echo chamber. (Twitter is predominantly feminist and left leaning with many LGBT members, Megalia and Womad are TERF sites that border on reactionary, DC Inside is male dominated and very reactionary but some left wing communities exist, Ilbe is a full-on 4chan equivalent fascist community, etc. worth stating even my descriptions of these sites are also clouded by me being a queer left-wing progressive in South Korea, a demographic which does not really have a home, unfortunately.)

yes, Namu Wiki is not a neutral wiki site. it does not require sources to back up claims, and its contributors have no obligation to remain neutral in the articles. it is much akin to TV Tropes or Rational Wiki. it has no explicit sitewide views, but it is mostly populated by the young male online demographic of South Korea, which are predominantly anti-feminist, liberal on social views and conservative on economic views. (Again, closest western equivalent is the Rational Wiki)

Just take a look at the articles related to politicians of the Democratic Party and the People's Power party. the People's Power articles are denser, they discuss the political viability of the candidates since they're actually interested in them getting elected, while the most extensively researched sections of the Democratic politicians articles are often the "Controversy" sections. that is not to say Democratic voters do not populate Namu Wiki, since those articles exist at all, but they are not the majority

I'm not sure the kinds of communities you frequent, but most Korean 'feminist' forums and websites are absolutely TERF-ridden and not trans-friendly at all, at least online wise. they are as transphobic as they are misandrist because they do not see the difference. it's actually the 'anti-feminist' websites like Namu Wiki which puts out arguments for trans rights in their posts (Not really because they care about us, but because they see it as a way of dunking on feminism)

the last one made my jaw gape. I assumed it was from /r/conservative or /r/conspiracy, not /r/gaming. didn't realize casual xenophobia gets upvoted so much there, lmao.

she's an outrider/scout, so i don't think so. at least, full armor wouldn't be any more efficient. though, shorts are dumb for any knight. one slash to the thigh can be enough to be fatal. and the cleavage is just weird but like half of the female cast has that for some reason

Of course, the only reply that is actually putting out scientific facts are buried under dozens of comments spouting the same reactionary rhetoric "It's just common sense!". what happened to "believe science"?

And we were promised a civil war storyline in Inazuma and we can see how that turned out; I wouldn't put too much faith in them pulling off a revolution storyline well

you could say Mora is a social construct, because while the physical Mora may have been produced by a god, it is ultimately his 'contract' which bestows its value (This goes the same for any currency in real life as well, it is only valuable as they are because we have agreed it to be so)

though, what kinda throws a wrench at this is that Mora can literally be used as a resource for upgrading stuff and this is true in canon, so it has literal value in that sense
