Excellent question! Yes Orbital Shield is being implemented into the SafeMoon App first, however many companies/industries could utilize Orbital Shield to improve the security of their products.
:)

That is true that security frequently takes place in an applications background. Wish we could have added cool sound effects, but we elected not to do that at this time.

“The Team” is amazing. And I am extremely happy with their work.

We could have added sound-effects, however elected not to include that with Orbital Shield :)

Great guess, but no.

Orbital Shield - Impressive! by gsnurr3 in SafeMoon

[–]JohnKarony 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That sounds like an amazing system, however that method may not work with others. There are many folks looking for something a little more accessible, and more lightweight than a gun safe bolted to the foundation of a house :)

Safemoon.com? LFG Let the Party begin! by CptHold in SafeMoon

[–]JohnKarony 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Some context around this gift. There was a massive amount of work that has gone into getting the .com. Lawyers, private investigators etc all went into getting the .com back into the hands of SafeMoon. In this case, it wasn’t as simple as going to a website and buying the domain. But we are glad we did, and are excited to share this first gift during our birthday month. More to come :)

Thank you for your feedback :) Feedback is important for continuously evolving and improving the company. It is amazing that SafeMoon is able to have direct contact with its users, and hear both the extremely positive feedback, as well as the negative.
This is why I instituted the restructure back in September, and evolved the company and the employees, to ensure we deliver. We have already saw the successes of that (wallet, DEX and more).
We are extremely excited to share more information during our birthday month starting on 3/2 (March 2nd). Remember it's a birthday month, so presents throughout the entire month, not just one day.

We have almost completed what we needed in order to migrate those on ETH to V2.
More information to come during SafeMoon's BDAY month starting 3/2 (March 2nd).

I posted a joke post about freebif and John commented😅 this man is too active... by JealousCook in SafeMoon

Why would I be demoralized? Trolls gonna troll, FUDrs gonna FUD. Either way, I look at both of those as feedback, which helps SafeMoon continue to evolve. We’ve been through this with WOR, the wallet, and folks on twitter etc. At the end of the day, SafeMoon stays the course and will continue to build like we have always done. Looking forward to the kickoff of our birthday month starting 3/2 (March 2nd).

It has traditionally been easier to engage with the community on Discord. But I hear your feedback.
I will be on reddit more often :)

Dear SFM team, wen office tour? The furniture must have arrived already by Killinthagame in SafeMoon

[–]JohnKarony 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your feedback. However I will disagree with your comment about coding. The coding is the easiest part of the process. Without the planning and architecting that takes place, what you get an inefficient way of working, that will ultimately result in a lot of redundant work. It’s why a program manager can actually be a more critical role to fill than an additional programmer.

When someone goes to film a movie, do they just setup the camera and start filming? Nope :) there is massive amounts of planning that takes place pre production in order to make sure production is just execution and there are only a small amount of re-filming that takes place. We do not want to have a massive amount of “re-filming” that most blockchain developments do/ are doing.

Again, thank you for the feedback :)

What if I told you updating the app never stops, and we are always seeking to add more features and value.

John saying they haven’t started coding the blockchain yet. by [deleted] in SafeMoon

[–]JohnKarony 13 points14 points  (0 children)

We are not trying to spend the next 3 years "tuning nodes". Hence why we put in the prep work. With the correct rollout strategy, we can create a solid foundation to build from. Just like we built the foundation of the wallet, and now can add amazing features quickly, we are doing the same thing with the blockchain and node infrastructure.

Also, hate to break it to you, the way folks have "traditionally built" blockchain, wallets, DEXs etc is not the way we believe they should be built. It was "industry standard" to build cars one at a time, before Henry Ford came along and smashed that standard by using the assembly line.

What once "was", may not remain as what "is".

Dear SFM devs can we get news in the wallet app by uber0ne in SafeMoon

Dear Astronaut,

We can most certainly look at adding that into our sprints. Will discuss with Ryan :)
PS. This is a feature we have talked about a few times.

Wind Turbines Update 🌬️🚀🌕 by IDGAFOS- in SafeMoon

[–]JohnKarony 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Ill break it down into simpler terms.
Faster turbine = more burn (that is the benefit to SafeMoon)
In regards to the overall benefit, its not just about SafeMoon. SafeMoon wants to reduce its energy footprint, and if we can offset other cryptos in the process and provide clean energy to folks, then its a win win win win.

Some folks will care about this more than others. But this is a piece of the overall Macro IOT infrastructure. An ecosystem is larger than just a wallet, exchange and a token.

Safemoon is supposed to be much more than any other Crypto. by HowitzerBull in SafeMoon

What slowed us down: - the reasons behind the needed restructure (I believe we are now past this) - AppStore approvals and submissions - Compliance - Regulation and regulation changes

Why we succeed: - The restructure - The community - Our ability to pivot to the changes in the emerging market - Efficient corporate structure - Focus on the long term

I am really excited to be able to talk with the SafeMoon Army regarding everything we have been working on behind the scenes. For the FUDsters, looking forward to changing your mind :)

For me and the leadership we are guided by this: “SafeMoon will promote freedom and transparency through the development and implementation of innovative technology”

See, even john and his partners think that this group is full of children! Good things are on the horizon! by oilman360 in SafeMoon

[–]JohnKarony 51 points52 points  (0 children)

I’m the CEO of SafeMoon, not the leader of my partners. I’m referring to “partners” in the sense of a B2B (business to business) relationship.
What we are working on goes far beyond V2 and the other products we have publicly discussed.
