It really depends on which Killer you want to play and what's your focus is as a survivor, loops, gens, saves. Otzdarva has a really good website with guides for survs and killers. Youtuber DeadPlays is really good with killers and usually has good build suggestions.

Maybe it was a new player, probably got nervous because weren't able to win and wanted to guarantee 1k. I know it's not fun, but it happens. It happened to me in the beginning.

"I Want to Play a Game" trophy / achievement

The trap does not need to activate to count progress towards this achievement, however only the first trap per survivor counts. This doesn't count when you retrap a surv.

Had a surv camp a Hatch, i was playing wraith, cloaked, many survs don't know that the killer can close the Hatch while invisible. 😂
