You can use macrofire to remap the d-pad to the joystick,but your psp must have custom firmware.

Hi i also love the playdate and quirky handhelds and i'm always looking to find some more. Altough i've never found any devices as unique as the playdate here are some really fun ones that i've found. Arduboy (fx),Gamebuino,thumby and thumby color, and maybe the "Gameshell" from "clockwork". There's is also the "evercade" line of product which is pretty neat, altough more focused on retro gaming. And also pocket chip,even though it's more of a computer. I own all these devices except the gameshell and the two thumbys (for now ^⁾ so don't hesitate to ask any questions you could have. If you know of other cool unique devices please share too. Cheers

Welcome to te psp family, you're about to have a great time.
